I know.  Why it was hard for me to pick.  I had to think about it hard.  Garrus is a bro to Shepard, but HK-47 is a badass droid that likes to call people 'meatbag'.  What's not to like there? 

I ended up voting for HK.  Star Wars still trumps Mass Effect for me but not by much.

I will be frank and say I did not care that much for HK47 or any other party member of KOTOR. Maybe it is because I played the game after ME1 and ME2 and felt that it was pretty much an early, unrefined version of ME1 in terms of the plot. While the party members were simply not great.

That could be, but I had KotOR since it was released and loved that game as much as I love Mass Effect.

The only droid in Star Wars that is a bigger badass is R2-D2.  That droid saves everyone at least once.

Did anyone notice that GameSpot is using the KotOR II version of HK-47? I found that version to be inferior to his portrayal in the original KotOR.
