I agree. Not because it's optional, though, I agree because games are kind of pieces of art from themselves, and noone would cut penis from ancient statue because they live in a country that is mostly populated by orthodoxians.
That was *not* my point. And making doubt of gay people existence anywhere was't either. My point was that when you instantly bully a lot of people because you grown up with diffirent values and principles on the base that they are absolute, using someting like "freedom" or "new age" as a base for that, you do wrong with those people, just like those people may do wrong for minorites they are not tolerant to. Your tolerancy turns into zealosy that way.
A Choice for a "natural" man.

The spiders weren't optional - homosexual content in ME 3 is, And that's just the point people aren't protesting because the game forces them to be gay because they know that isn't the case, No they are protesting the fact that the option exists and that IS childish.
Like they somehow gets dirty hands just by having the content on the disc... well i got news to you, YOU cant catch the gaybug by playing games your masculinity is quite safe.
Yes, cutting stuff from games is stupid.

The dude starts a topic named "A choice for a "natural" man" and then decides to spurt what is obviously broad generalizations and flat out lies about his countrymen to lend credence to his own homophobic opinion.. the dude is a troll and deserves to be bullied.

When people ask you to grow up they don't do it in reference to the age of Capitols but rather due to the inescapable fact that fear optional homosexually in computer games is a childish fear.. pure and simple.
And how about, say, spiders? Or heights? I've seen a lot of topics where arachnofobes ask Bioware to remove those large creeps from their games, and it seemed like people had mixed opinions on that, unlike this topic. But really, if you dig deeper into issue, people here disregard homophobes (unlike other kind of phobias) and bash them, because, overall, their society crossed the line (did't "grow") on the opinion of how to treat that matter. It's completely fine for you, and you think to be completely right, because most of western citizens came to kind of consensus on the matter of gay people.
Well, there is also east, you know. It's there.

Word, babe.
I think making triggering a romance clear, however, is a good option. I hate when I accidentally get into a straight romance.

Attempting to equate homosexuality and homophobia is absurd. One is a physiological attraction and the other is an opinion. They aren't the same thing in the slightest.AdmiralCheez wrote...

Dude. You can read in our gaming magazines _being published_. _On paper_. Stuff about minorities or, say, afro americans which would get you permanently banned from these forums. And they do not do it purpusefuly, those are just _regular_ remarks.

The same could be said of including gay romances in the first place, which was only done to please the rather vocal - whining, if you will - gay community on here.Xilizhra wrote...

The thing is that not everyone will be fine with having said romances included, so a simple on/off switch you might not feel the need to use would be the most effective way to please those "bigoted whiners", just as you have been pleased by having s/s romances available now.

That's really unimportant, Only things that matters here is that on these forums his behaviour is considered trollish and it really doesn't matter how he behaves other places this forum can not conform to that.
