I came to the board for my daily unwind and I read horrible things and then I got trolled and then there were more horrible things and there are not any mods?  What is happening? Mod holiday?

yeah, it's pretty bad. A few threads anyway. not all. it's a shame we need mods or ppl get.....crazy. Bottom line is that ppl are crazy. ppl are crazy as heck. And of course some are just stupid.

Don't let it discourage you frostajulie. Some days, you're going to get targeted by the zealots on this forum (I cannot argue that I am not one myself). It takes a bit of persistence to keep posting on these debates, discussions and opinions so inevitably toes are going to get stomped on. As friends have told me, sometimes for some people, it's about how hard you can hit them and look good doing it. Never enjoyable when things get mean however; everyone gets mad and no one wants to hear the other side and nothing gets accomplished or learned. But when you've had all you can take.....
Just don't worry too much. You'll see some appalling logic one day, then the next come across truly brilliant posts. Maybe that's why I keep coming back; people amaze and surprise me with both good and bad stuff.

I love the awful posts. They are a comedic gold mine. But that is because I can laugh at almost anything. I imagine that for someone who really, really wanted to talk about ME they are . . . a bit let down to say the least.
