Except for the standard stuff of bruises and that i've been pretty lucky. Had a severly sprained ankle when i was around 12.. that really do suck when you play loads of football and if you're unlucky and get a tackle right there. Once got a golfball in my head, that was less then pleasant and i remember me not moving 'cause of the pain for around 10 min and it ended with my dad carrying me for 2 km until we got home. Most recently i managed somehow to get a sharp bone in my shoulder to probably penetrate a nerv. That did hurt ALOT and it still hurts every now and then, mostly when i play too much games :/
What is the worst injury you have ever suffered?

Either the time I was like 12 and I was snowboarding on one of the really big hills, I fell and spun a few times, ended up breaking one of my legs and also almost my wrist. I kinda lost my balance and just rolled my way down the rest of the hill, so I was wet, cold and hurt in the end. I...yeah.
Or the time I was 16 and I crashed my motorcycle while me and my boyfriend were on it. We were trying new tricks in my yard where I lived at the time and I hit a tree. It may not sound bad, but it was. It hurt like hell, and I broke an arm. My parents were SO angry at me too.
I've gotten hurt more then that, though. In the 24 years I've lived so far, I've had too many cuts and scrapes and broken bones to count. I was always the loner girl who could kick ass. Never changed either. I still get hurt a ton XD

Hah, 9 long years of repeatedly getting the **** kicked out of me and of kicking the **** out of people in karate. It's pretty much one giant injury. Broken hand that never healed properly because I didn't know it was broken, damaged shoulder, black eyes... lol.

I flew a kite at the beach when I was a kid. It crashed down and straight into my right eye. I got lucky - I can still see with it.

fingers crossed nothing major yet.....
The one that sticks in my mind was sitting in a heap of blue bottles on the beach as a kid (my mother was not looking when she put me down talking to someone *sigh*).... it stung like buggery and my left arse cheek and leg looked ...interesting for a while to say the least.
Other than that the most stupid ones happened sparring when I used to do kickboxing, you seem to get hurt more when you are *trying* not to hurt each other XD

Last year I went to a crossdressing party with some friends and I wore these amazing shoes - silver, five inch strappy stilettos. I could barely walk in them but figured I could at least last the night...then I had a few, tripped, and broke my ankle... It was actually kind of funny afterwards; my boyfriend drove me to the emergency room and carried me in and we got sooo many funny looks. Those shoes though, I don't know how women ever get used to wearing them...

That is gold! I'm sorry to hear you broke your ankel but I would of LOVED to of seen the looks on their faces
And the most awesome of looking heels are always murder to wear <_< but I have friends that wear them like a pair of sneakers and it has me stumped how they do it......I only wear them when I am dressed up and the occasion calls for it, and it usually kills me feet by the end of the night

I know, right? A friend of mine wears heels almost all the time and she never trips, wobbles, or even gets blisters. It freaks me out, I swear she has crazy robot feet or something
I doubt I'll ever throw on a pair again, at least not that high

Do diseases count? Because I has a really nasty and evil disease when I was a child.
I had a very bad case of the bacterial brain infection, also known as brain abscess. It nearly killed me and I'm not joking. The doctors were way to late with the cure. They literally said I should have been death but because of some miracle I'm not.
I don't believe in (a) God, but if I did then I'd believe he kept me alive for some reason. But I don't believe in God, so....

A very sensative portion of my anatomy once got itself twisted somehow. Took hours before they could operate on it and get it fixed. That hurt. Alot.
And that's all the detail I'm going into.

Basketball injury; Well, I twisted my knee once. Tore a meniscus (which is tissue that acts as a cushion between the bones of the upper and lower leg at the knee.) Had to undergo arthroscopic surgery. They repaired the damaged meniscus.
^Still that. Though I do tend to get bruised and cramps everyday from chopping wood and other tedious and repetetive tasks.

Worst part is that I was in the fourth grade. So I'm confused and in pain, and I hear the doctor talking about having to opperate withing a certain time frame or the organ could die. Boy did I freak out.HagSpawn wrote...

I tore a muscle in my shoulder when I was in Venice in 2003. It was early April, and I had no idea how cold it could be in Italy that time of year, and I was not dressed for the cold and the rain and humidity coming off the canals). Cold and tired, I was lugging my heavy suitcase around on the vaporetto bus and as I was getting off the boat on Lido I felt a pain in my shoulder. I thought I just pulled a muscle, but it didn't get any better during the entire trip, so I had to lurch around Venice, Florence and Paris like a shambling zombie for the next 13 days. If only it had happened at the END of my trip, rather than the beginning. I spent one whole day in bed, what a waste of a day in Venice!
