I downloaded Origins from PSN, but I bought the Awakening disk at the store. I get the error "Dragon Age: Origins game data is required for Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening. Please eject your disk and insert your Dragon Age Origins disk." Is there a way around this? If not is it possible to use a friend's disk and keep my saves, trophies, and dlcs?

Your saves, torphies, and dlc shouldn't be affected. I don't know if borrowing a dao disc will solve your problem.

I am having the exact same issue. Downloaded Origins and bought the Awakenings disc and get the same error. I called EA support and the y told me to get my money back from Playstation and re-purchase the download because the one I have is bad. I am going to try deleting Origins from my PS3 and re-download and install. Since that takes all night, I'll have to report back tomorrow.
