Was playing ME2 today and one time I wasn't getting any sound for the Shadow Broker lair. Later in the Normandy the visuals were all green and blue! Looked psychedelic! Fortunately it's cleared up for now...otherwise it could be VERY annoying...especially the colour thingy.
Anyone else have this issue? Game issue or console issue? I'm on a replay and hadn't had any glitch like this first playthrough.
Are these game bugs or PS3 bugs?

What would the issue be with the console? How would you fix it? Outlook for console?
Thanks.
Thanks.

PS3 games are very hard to port, and when done incorrectly, glitches result! This is why games that are 1st party games (resistance, killzone, uncharted, etc..) work better than 3rd party games. Its pretty sad if you ask me. Games that are created solely for the PS3 generally work flawlessly, but multi-platform games get errors.

I'm still interested in a reply to my last post in this thread.
re port glitches...in ME2 they're a minor irritation for me...in a series like Assassin's Creed they become major irritations for me...for starters, the story just isn't as engaging as ME2, so the bugs and glitches in that just make the games suck more (I liked the middle game the best...the rest are varying degrees of dull and vexing).
Was reading a PC mag in a newsagent today, discussing ME2 mods...sounded interesting...e.g. one has enemies barriers recharging just like Shepard's do, making the playing field between yous more level. Is that kind of stuff translatable to consoles? I mean you can download stuff to consoles...why can't you download a mod for a game?

The sound failure is probably a game bug, but the visual issue seems more like there maybe something wrong with your disc drive. The disc drive on my old ps3 had similar issues right up until it stopped working completely.

Gosh...my PS3 is less than a year old. Since I posted this thread I really haven't had too many troubles...weird...might pay to save my games though.
Do you know about DLC? I'm interested in whether you can dowload DLC to a USB stick then pop that in your PS3 to access it? I'd like to be able to do that...so, just a suggestion for the company.

Sorry I didn't mean to alarm, my ps3 was quite old when that was happening so it more than likely won't be that.
I don't know whether or not you can put dlc on USB's but you can transfer dlc, games etc via an ether-net cable between two ps3's.
