 So what he dumps the Warden for absolutely NO viable reason despite claiming to "love" her SO much. Jerkwipe clearly has a screwed up definition of "love" then, if he loved her he wouldn't let a DAMN thing get in the way of that, even an army of stuck up stupid nobles who rightly should all be thrown onto the executioner's block for the crappy arsed things they did to the Warden, spinning around in circles trying to catch their own arses whilst Darkspawn were about to rip them all to shreds.

So he'll gladly bang Morrigan if asked to, but will never, ever, EVER touch the Warden again? There's no door open for them to even get back together in the future? She's going to become the goddamn Arl of Amaranthine in a little while, why the hell couldn't they be together given THAT?! What the hell could a bunch of noble d*cks say about them being together when SHE is a goddamn noble, and a very mighty one at that?! Holy H christ I hate you Bioware.

And even if he does NOT become king, and those twits on TvTropes grilled me for this too - WHY THE HELL is he not present in Awakening? Why don't we even get so much as a damn letter from that unfaithful, abandoning jerkwad, like we did from preachy Leliana and promiscuous Zevran? Supposedly the most pure and faithful LI couldn't even write to his goddamn girlfriend as to why HE couldn't be with her? The poor Warden is once given the crappiest end of the deal and is once again ditched by everyone else in the world, left to save this pathetic piece of crap world all by theirself? No. There's no valid reason for this. None whatsoever. Why the hell are we given no explanation for this blonde jackarse's absence? There is NO. EXCUSE.

DAMN YOU FOR MAKING SUCH A STUPID MESSED UP SCHIZOPHASIC CHARACTER WITH A MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER. THIS GUY IS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND HAS ZERO CONSISTENT CHARACTER, ZERO PERSONALITY, ZERO BRAINS, ZERO EVERYTHING.

That stupid Goldanna mission was the biggest waste of time ever. Should have just pulled out an anachronistic rifle and shot them both dead.

Oh, and left Ferelden to rot, because it seriously is not worth saving and we shouldn't have to freaking save it. I don't want to save it, I want to leave all these miserable ungrateful little snots to die. Maybe we'll be more properly appreciated when these jerkwads know how it feels to die a slow and miserable demon plague death.

Also, next time I want it to be an option to kill any and all of the LI's personally. That should have been an option. Disembowled that little weed with Ken doll genitalia with a sword.

Um, he had very good reasons, very practical reasons why he has to end the relationship with the Warden. In fact, its one of the few incidents in the game where he uses his head over his heart. This isn't some fairy tale where "twu wuv conquors all". And he doesn't happily bang Morrigan, either, its something he has to be talked into.

In fact, he and others warn you well before the Landsmeet that the relationship might be doomed, especially once Eamon hatches the scheme to put him on the throne.

As "those twits on TvTropes" said when a similiar question was asked, it was likely that Warden-Alistair was assigned to another country, like Kirkwall, as DA2 suggests.

My tendency is to agree with you, but after giving it more thought, I now think the world is better off with this person directing their energies at a bunch of pixels. If they found a real person to obsess about, someone could seriously get hurt.

Actually, Anora is a bajillion times the better monarch (only reason I booted her on my first playthrough was cause I felt the game pushed me into it).

LOVE ANORA. Don't care if she's a greedy little biach, she's 100% my kinda woman - tough, clever, and independent. LOVE.

My most happy ending: Anora is all the Queen Ferelden needs, so she becomes our ruler, Loghain becomes my good friend and I care for him, which leads me to plead him to do the you-know-what because I don't want him to die, so we kill the dragon god and both survive. Anora is crowned, Loghain does his own thing (I'm not really sure what), and me and Zevran/Leli go skipping off into the sunset.

Until Mother and Architect come along and raise hell, anyway. But then I help Archy and put the Mother down, and we resume skipping off into the sunset.

Moreover, playing as a noble you won't need to worry about it.
