may be i'll repeat someone's post, but...
for PC version:
1) Heroes never die ?
So...your main character died in 'Origins' ( you said "goodbuy" to Morrigan, Alistar and Anora married, Logain was kiled by your main character) but if you import such pre-history to 'Awakening' from a "post coronation" saving it starts me LOL !!!!
NOT only the pre-history was imported but the MAIN character who DIED !!!! (remains were sent to Weissrupt !!!!) ALSO appears in 'Awakening" and in ALL dialogs he appears as a "HERO OF FERELDEN" !!!!
AWESOME!!! FANTASTIC!!! PERFECT !!! BELLICISMO!!!
I want more such "heroes of ferelden" . Bioware you NEED "keep it hot" such "thingy" I want more such "heroes" in your next games(patches)  ;)
2) about Anders... you handover (saying "good-buy") him to the guard who came with king Alistar.....but how he (Anders) then appears in DA2 considering that Vigils Keep was destroed and Justice gone???

How about transferring such 'pre-history' to DA2 ?

3) your main character is a FEMALE, but in some dialogs I see something like "...SIR". Arhhhh I forgot - it's my bad english.... so it's ok... for a while ;)
4) in a dungeon ( dialog  with Riordan (don't remember his name exactly)...Alistar is NOT in your party at this moment, but why Riordan says that Alistar was there?

for console owners:
( XBOX & PS): Do you have the similar issues or can you replay those moments (dialog with Morrigan and meeting with Alistar's guard) of the game? How it looks?
P.S. BioWare you NEED tie up VERY and VERY CAREFULLY all endings of a game if you want to SELL an "epic game-story"
Thanks for attention.

Not "Sir". It's "Ser", a non-gender-specific term used both to denote a knight of the realm (both male and female), and as a an all-purpose honorific when addressing someone of greater status.

Hi there. My response to your points:

1) It's fine, because if you want to leave your dead warden actually dead, then you can - it's your choice at the end of the day (I guess the reason why Bioware included the option of importing a dead warden DA:O playthrough into Awakening is so the people who only played characters who did die - and were strongly attached to their character - wouldn't feel left out, when the expansion was released).
This isn't Bioware ignoring a plot decision you made - in principle - but rather, giving you, the player, the choice to retcon a part of your character's story, for convenience sake, if you feel so obliged.
Also, it's very worth noting that you can import your dead warden's playthrough directly into DA2, and the plot acknowledges your warden's sacrifice.

2) Yes - I wholeheartedly agree with this point, I won't argue otherwise. It was an incredibly bad oversight (or maybe lack of care, even). This is different from the first point, as there is no way to avoid this retcon - it forces it upon you, irregardless of your input.
This is a perfect example of why I didn't buy DA2. I was wary of it from the start (ever since it was first announced - reasons ranging from the short development time to the various details that were announced over time, about the game e.g. not playing as your DA:O character, for one).
This was the first Bioware rpg that I didn't snap up as soon as I knew about it, since many years (ever since I was first exposed to KotOR). I've even gone back through their early catalogue and picked up games such as the Baldur's Gate series, but I was cautious of DA2, and rightfully so it seems (speaking on my behalf - I don't pretend to speak for anyone else nor will I generalise either). I tried out a friend's copy, and was suitably unimpressed, and haven't returned to it since. A huge problem I had was the lack of respect for the fans' experience of the original game. Needless to say, no matter what Bioware says inbetween now and its eventual release (even if they hypothetically promised a return to the quality of the first game), I won't be buying DA3 when it comes out, either.

3) Moot point, they refer to you (and other characters) as "Ser" (the meaning of which has already been explained by other posts). More information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ser

4) Can't remember that part to be honest (been some time since I last played the main campaign of DA:O so my memory is sketchy of such details); I'll take you word for it though. Probably was an unintentional oversight (happens in all stories of such scale - especially those that are told through the medium of computer gaming, and even more so for such games where you can make many choices throughout your playthrough of said game - accounting for all the variables is no doubt tough work).

Anywhoo, that's my 2 pennies. Later :)
