actually it sounds more like a .2da issue. a bad script would only make the feat useless

(NWN1 has tlk's doesnt it?)

I modified the feats.2da, and added a new feat. It appears when I increase the level of my PC but it does not appear in my PC's special ability section. I am trying to use this feat for my Blackguard PC to cast spells..........

you haven't made the feat so the feat get replaced by another feat. ie the feat are hidden under a previous feat and therefore not listed.

It has been a long time since i have even looked at feats. the problem could be that you have your feet pointing at a spell in spells.2da and not a feat.

Didn't get what CID-78 and Lightfoot8 said, .... how can a feat be hidden by another feat..?

You need to add that feat to cls_feat_*.2da files with OnMenu set to 1. It will appear in class radial-menu then.

NWNExplorer (preferly a updated version) will allow you to view and export all game files. and you should do this for feat.2da aswell. the source folder is outdated by ages.

Interesting. I did not know that....

Wait....I exported the cls_feat_* with the NWN Explorer to the override folder, added my custom lebel and index and so on to the table; and changed the class.2da (Blackguard Feat Table) but after that when I turned on the game and opened a new module with my PC, there is no blackguard icon in the special ability section..............
Why is this...?

For example if you want to add your custom feat to fighter class:
- export cls_feat_fight.2da from game resources
- open it in notepad (or other 2da editor you have)
- read about cls_feat*.2da files on NWNWiki
- add new line
- save the file and put it in override
- export cls_feat_fight.2da from game resources
- open it in notepad (or other 2da editor you have)
- read about cls_feat*.2da files on NWNWiki
- add new line
- save the file and put it in override

Yup, having it in the override will certainly get you on your way. Enjoy your new feats!

I still think a lot of your problems are comming from the fact that you are point int to a spell in Spells.2da and not a feat. You stated in the original post that you used firestorm that is what 119 or something around there. Well line 119 is a spell for firestorm it is not a line for the feat called firestorm. \\
