Two my favourites getting together? Why not.

I always saw them as rather similar - mind before feelings, better safe than sorry, not a frontline but really good as supporting char, not easily open up to Shepard but developing deep and warm relationship... and surely two Sentinels will find what to talk about. The only their problem so far in my books is that one of them usually taken by Shepard.

Kaidan is so upfront with his feelings for FemShep it's not even funny. That's feelings before mind in my book.

The end of ME2 just about erodes Miranda's loyalty to Cerberus.


Besides, Shepard can be anti-Cerberus while romancing Miranda.

I love the idea of Kaiden and Jack together, she's not a bad person she just has a lot more baggage than most, Kaidens calming levelheaded to the point of stodgy old man would really balance out Jacks over the top I wanna kill all things cerberus and anyone wwho looks at me funny. She'd have loads of fun pulling that stick out of his ..... oh the places we can go with that image :D

I think the only clear non-Shep pairing we have so far is Gabby/Ken

...and maybe Tali/Reegar (provided Shep's out of the picture)

As for Kaidan and Miranda...nah, I just can't see it

I doubt it would work now, but I've had thoughts that Kaiden might have been the sort of patient, good, and most importantly trustworthy person Jack needed back in the day. The period of Kaiden's personal journey of maturation in the galaxy would have made a good timer period for them to meet.

I don't really believe that opposites attract (not in the long run at least) so I'd say no. I think Miranda/Liara make more sense, they have more in common.

What's wrong with Kaidan? He's a guy who, per Chakwas I think, has a "very impressive" record in his time with the Alliance. Damn guy deals with migraines from his bio-implants and toughs it out in the military.


Shoot, he's actually probably a more qualified leader than Shepard is at the beginning of ME1. Kaidan said he's never lost a soldier under his command. Compare that to Shepard who blindly sent Jenkins into an ambush of geth recon drones (and sadly, that's not the last boneheaded tactical move that Shepard makes within the lore).


They seem like total opposites, personality wise. I can't see them as being compatible on anything but a sexual level. Kaidan is a very open guy, with a strong sense of conviction. Very thoughtful. A good guy. Miranda, on the other hand, is full of careless, bad ideas. She's cold, selfish, and not the kind of caring or idealistic person Kaidan is. I imagine they wouldn't get along even as friends.

I just think that Miranda can still do better than Kaidan.  All incompatable factors aside, I just think Miranda can do better.

But yes, their personalities clash way too much.  Friends?  ....Maybe....I don't know.  I see her being more compatible and a better match with Jacob, to be honest.
