I just realized something funny about my Shepards...

my first femshep was very deliberately based on me, appearance wise
whenever I design malesheps with no clear goal but rather just "I want him to be attractive" - they end up strongly resembling my husband O_O

Eh, 21. And you're probably one of the first to catch a girly tone in my posts.rapscallioness wrote...
@Admiral Cheez, I was always thought you were female. The "tone" of your posts always struck me as female. Granted, i thought you were a bit older...idk why. Oh, and choco covered espresso beans...Yeah! Love those things. They'll have you giggity all day.
PS I ate the whole bag and then slept til 2pm.
See, I only made one of 'em look like me on purpose. Also, I am dismayed by the lack of curly hair.My Femshep...well, she kinda looks like me. I made her as close to me as possible. Although I didn't think about it at the time, but yeah...Except for the hair and nose. I've got really long, curly--downright unruly hair. Won't find that on the CC, but it's the same hair color. And I was lucky to create a nose that didn't look like something an Orc would sport.
Well, if you're going to spend 30 hours or more playing it, why the hell not?Everything else tho, the facial structure; eyes, eyebrows, mouth...skin tone--almost. It never crossed my mind to make a Shep that looked vastly different from myself. After I found out I could be a chick, I went full steam ahead trying to be the star of my own video game..lol.

A lot of my Sheps are diversified. I have all kinds of different flavors of Sheps because I didn't want to create "yet another version of the same thing." That goes from hair to skin color and differing the features so they all look distinct.

Meh, I could never make a Shepard that looks like me. And I usually prefer my Sheps being dark skinned, though I myself aren't.
I'm mixed race and I don't think I've ever created a darker skinned character in any RPG I've ever played, lol.

Same here, half black and half white, but most of my Sheps are like the second tick from the right on the "complextion" or whatever it is scale.

its just a tradition of mine in.. pretty much every rpg I play that has customizable characters. first one is always made to look as close to my own face as I can manage. I've been doing that for a long long time :/

I always make my characters have a bit of pigmentation (like a more Ashley colour) but never actually dark skinned. I prefer white girls IRL so that probably just transfers itself in to video games too (not to say I find video game characters sexually attractive, but you probably get what I mean

ROFL I am such a vain person when it comes to facial hair.
My femSheps I tried to model after my current G/F and the older ones are modelled after EXs

Yeah, same here. One of my white friends, occasionally says to me when we pass a black girl, "There's you a woman" and I'm like "Actually, not." Not racist, I have over forty black cousins, just don't find it attractive, for the most part.

I haven't made a female Shep that looks like me. The ones I've made are very diverse. One looks like Claudia Black, two look like my best friend, one is Asian, two are black, and one Hispanic. I made one character that looks like me once in DA.... see my Avatar minus the pointy ears, and not as gaunt in the cheeks, and make the hair mid-back.
I still want one with dreads.

Screw that, I have chocolate covered espresso beans.
On the note of creepiness, I am somewhat curious as to what Saphra looks like, but mainly to have a face to connect to the sometimes insane, mostly brilliant voice. Same goes for Zulu, though.
I always wonder what people look like, especially high-profile people like Saphra or Zulu or marsh...or you, for instance.
If I had a decent picture available, I might place it on here. I'm also pretty introverted when it comes to appearing on camera (and not really photogenic at that), so I've had 3 of them taken over the course of the last 4 years, which are 3 more than I'd like.
Add to that the fact that the one pic I have left depicts me wearing idiotic sunglasses, drinking (and sweating) many, many hours into a party and yeah... It isn't an accurate representation of the me I usually am.

Some of the people with intelligent discussion, expecially on ren/par, I consider. And, of course, people who are batcrap crazy-sounding like Zulu with his many theories.
I'm actually surprised the Admiral placed her pic on here. I would never do that.

I do that, too. The reason so many of them are still in the ME1 intro is that I played one of 'em twice in ME1 and another one three times in ME2.Jayman1337 wrote...
