I envy your ability to create a variety of Shepards, I can't ever bring myself to stop replaying my canon.

I do that, too.  The reason so many of them are still in the ME1 intro is that I played one of 'em twice in ME1 and another one three times in ME2.

PLAYTHROUGH NOT PERFECT.  MUST START COMPLETELY OVER.

I just finally created another Shepard because I was so stuck on my cannonshep

In almost every new ME playthrough I start - I toy with the character creator and try to make Shep look like me...

About five minutes in (or in one case, nearly 45 minutes I believe) I give up and play with default.

Now I have found its easier to shave my head and keep the stubble trimmed in real life and it almost, every so slightly, not really, but if you squint and put Vaseline over a pair of glasses - gives me the same affect.

I thank my genes for making me a caucasian male with a square jaw, blue eyes, brown hair, and full facial hair.
I can just say Sheploo looks enough like me :D

That's me making The Face in a stupid hat.

While known to work on people you don't want to talk to, The Face does not protect you from fancy webcams.

And also "chocolate covered espresso beans." does those even exsist? If so where can I get them?!

Candy stores and coffee shops, brah.

That is you? I was pretty tempted to joke and say it was the snow Yeti from "The empire strikes back". But now I am glad I did not do it, that would have been akward!

Have not seen seen them in my local coffee shops. Must look more thoroughly next time. Thanks for the tip.

I'd bet most people create a shep that looks like them. I make a hideous chick shep. Thank god for the face code site

I only use 2 faces for all of my shep(s).

MaleShep (canon): I diliberately made to look as close to Frank Castle (aka The Punisher) from some of my old comics as much as I could. Not perfect, but convey's the look well. Unfortunately the "slicked back" hair style in the CC makes shep look like he has a giant knot on the top of his head. So, I used the short "combed forward" style.

FemShep: I literally made an Ash clone without realizing it in ME1, then used the Samus face code for ME2.

Technically, I don't need to try and make shep look like me...because BW did that for me with Sheploo. o.O Not saying I'm as pretty as vanderloo, but I have the same facial structure it's close enough....my head's just not as big. xD

I wish I could make a FemShep that looks a little more like me. My eyes are very slanted, the outer corners are tilted upwards. Well, v-shape sort of. None of the eyes in CC feels really good to me. Hmmm... and I can't play with a character that has eyes that are slanted in the other direction. It just feels wrong. I'm luckier when it comes to hair. Hope they have a bigger variety of eyes in ME3.

Glad to see I'm not alone in that regard.

I made the stupid mistake of letting a friend borrow ME2 before I was finished with my current playthrough, so when I get it back I'll probably have to start all over again because I'll be like "Wait, what choices did I make again? Aw **** it!"

SNIP

That's interesting, but i don't seem to have that problem, i tend to make characters of all kind, i recently did a viking looking manshep just for the lulz.

Anyway I don't roleplay, however I do play the game as myself and when i do, i stick to sheploo, or a manshep that looks like me to get me feeling more comfortable. So there must be some lvl of narcist in me, since I prefer these characters over my other ones xd

My characters also have some similarities with me, most of them are caucasian and have green eyes.
As for facial structures, dunno, would need me to do a coulage, but I guess there are some similarities between my characters, dont know how much of it with me, I don't look in the mirror that much (at least while seeing my avatars, and thus playing) lol.

Almost all of my Shepard's have blue eyes because...well...I have blue eyes. And blue's my favorite colour. XD Luckily, I've stayed away from making every Shep a redhead. But most of them are pale, and/or with freckles with a pronounced nose and cheekbones...all of my facial features. *sigh*

It's all kinda funny, really.

Yeah my canon Shep has green eyes like me.... and a very pronounced Jaw line like me.... and short hair like me in some of my photos in my Album.... he also has a goatee like I tend to have most of the time.... but I change that quite often.

All my Shepards have dark skin, something I do not have. And all are female, another characteristic I don't share

High cheek bones, but mine are pretty high too. I just like high cheek bones. And then I do like the shade of red in Mass Effect and I have red hair.

Probably because you never bother talking to them/don't know how to without sounding like an ass.

You can be ugly as sin and still get chicks.  Look at Garrus, ffs.

Ehhhh... mine are on my profile if people care enough to see what my Shep looks like they can look at me on there.

I never was scared of people seeing what I look like. Some may complimet, some may criticise... bottom line I am happy with me, my personality is what gives me confidence though.

I've posted my pic all over the net. Lots of forums have threads dedicated to it. Like Omega said, I'm happy with who I am. =)
