I would, if only to prevent future conflict and ethical dilemma, easy as that. To provide an ME analogy: I would prevent the quarians from creating an AI species, but after the deed's been done they have no right (in my eyes) to terminate said species.

Yes at our most basic levels, we are all similar, but it isn't chemistry or even our most basic needs that make us who we are.  It is our emotions and how we view the world that makes us who we are, and to treat everyone as if they are similar is just plain redundant.  And just because you have taken a few semesters worth of psychology in college doesn't make you an expert, and trying to have yourself perceaved as such just barks at your insecurity and willingness to bend the truth, neithe rof which should be traits of a psychologist.  Find a new major.

I'm stating that you would be a fool if actualy tried to use whatever you learned during your classes to analyze people posting on the internet.

Studying psyhology does not make you better than ayone here considering that half of pedagogy and psyhology students picked that course to solve their own life issues while the other half just couldn't pick anything better with grades they got in the previous schools... there also is that small fraction of genuine passionates who want to help other people, solve their problems and teach them, but those people are usualy just as mad as people they are trying to help.

That batarian whom you send to Mordins for treatment. Sure changed his outlook on humans.

Mercs on Garrus' recruitment mission. The blue suns batarians were quite civil. Pretty much all of them in fact (except Tarak, but even he said it was nice to see Zaeed again).

Thats all I can think of right now. Most of them are jerks. I think the human/batarian proxy war is an interesting one though, and I think the species has a lot of potential for development.

Try to keep in mind that batarians come from a culture where they are taught (from birth mind you) that being greedy and having a superiority complex toward other species is normal and encouraged. This type of influence throughout ones life leads to ignoring whats right in front of your face in favor of believing what your told to believe.

There is nothing about batarians that cannot be related to our own human history when it comes to slavery and oppression, and the plague victim thanking Shepard and the comment of "I was wrong about you human, I was wrong about a great many things." tells me quite clearly that they are just as capable of overcoming their prejudices as any human. The batarian government is evil, but I believe the species is not.
