That makes Feron the new Shadow Broker?

Why would it? As if Liara is incapable of contacting Feron while he keeps an eye on things back on the ship, or leaving standing orders for how to deal with this or that eventuality.

Hopefully Liara dies in the intro and I become the new Shadow Broker....

She is still the Shadow Broker she is probably in constant contact with Feron and the drone. I just wonder where she will be on the normandy. I hope there is some sort of war room on the normandy. That would be the perfect place for her.

My personal guess is the original Shadow Broker ship got hit by the Reapers or Cerberus Liara escaped and set up a jury-rigged lair on the Normandy.

And Feron's the new Rupert :P

I think its probable Cerberus has Hagalaz location.  We seen that TIM has bugged the Normandy widely and its likely all these bugs haven't been removed.  As the ships only defence is really its secrecy that put Liara at great risk.   Leaving the base seems a logical move.

Im not sure if that will stop her being the Shadow Broker.  Most likely she has secondary bases setup outside Cerberus knowledge as well as communication channels.  However since her purpose in her own words is stopping the Reapers and aiding Shepard as the SB (possibly more personally then professionally) I think she would want to be with her when its all kicking off. Liara probably feels the Normandy is best place to be to do this.

She's still the Shadow Broker. Heck her agents do most of the work. She just sends emails. She can do that from the ship.

Feron already was the Shadow Broker, he was just pulling a Keyser Söze in Redemption and LotSB.

I wonder where Liara will stay on the Normandy? My guess is in a lab like ME1 or in the med bay with Chakwas.

IIRC a dev did suggest that permanent squadmates in ME3 would not be the same as in previous games, so she may move around. I think my Shepard would like it if she moved in w/ her into the captain's quarters. She never uses that computer and other crap anyway.

That would be cool If your LI could move into the captains quarters.Shepard has to ask if they want to move in and then do the Sheploo face.

I hadn't considered the possibility of Cerberus finding and overtaking Hagaggallalaz. That would be an easy way to get Liara on the Normandy for story purposes. Plus, does anyone really care about galactic espionage while the Reapers are reapin' errebody out there?

I thought Cerberus gave Shepard information about the Shadow Broker's location? So, I think they already know.

Shadow Broker Base will probably get attacked and we'll have to go rescue liara and that's how she joins the squad

No, you won't.  Why?  Because you won't be given the option.

Though I'm not sure if VIs can have biotic powers...

You mean the ship that nobody knows exist and is constantly on the move in the center of a blinding storm of lightning that covers a whole hemisphere on a supposedly deserted planet?

Sure they will.
