im running windows 7 home premium, 64 bit, service pack1.
ive read various posts on how to make it work, but nada.
ive tried various compatibility modes, nada.
csnat find this 1.69 patch.
anyone help...please...i love this game! lol

With your astoundingly descriptive summary, I'm sure someone will be able to use ESP and figure out how to advise you on a fix.
Alternatively, you could actually give us an idea of the specific issue or error you're getting.
And the 1.69 patch is for NWN not NWN2. If you got NWN2 via Steam, you are fully patched.

Sounds like NWN Diamond. You should ask for technical help in the NWN technical forum.
