I'm thinking of creating an aasimar with 7 levels of bard the rest favoured soul, to reach level 20 what Xp will I need?  I calculated  192 500.  Is this correct ie my xp penalty will only start when I reach favoured soul level 9, this means I get a difference of 45,000 subtract that from 237, 500 and you get 192,500.

Would I need less XP than playing an ECL +2?

depends on whether you're alternating bard+fs from the beginning. if you go straight bard, then fs, you'll take an xp hit on levels 1-5 of fs, then on levels 9-20. if not, it'll go easier.

Yea I'm planning on alternating. So I only start to get the penalty when I go fs lvl 9. What sux is that my character is going to be a drow. Problems, problems.
