I think what I liked most about Faunts being in ME1's credits is that it was so... unexpected. The surprise of such a good and in some ways uplifting song made it all the better. That ME2 just used the Suicide mission track was somewhat predictable and disappointing. I continually skipped through ME2's credits as soon as I heard it, whereas I never did with ME1.



For me, Champion or Faunts would be good choices, if they made a new song for it - or maybe M4 Part 1. At the end of it all though, I'll be happy so long as the credits song is something unexpected.

I was looking at the title of the song thinking 'I remember that from somewhere' so clicked on link and soon as it started, I had a Brayko flashback

Thanks OP. I really like that Soup song. It definitely fits the whole synthesized vibe they originally aimed for with the first ME... Which is why M4 Part 2 fit so well. I too was disappointed with the typically orchestrated ending song for ME2 (although it's very good none the less).

I feel like a lot of these suggested songs are the same; Good, but missing that synthesized vibe that gave the Mass Effect universe that classic sci-fi feel.

 Number one choice would be "Glorious" by Muse especially from 1:43 on. Also "The xx" by Crystalized is also a good choice. Maybe even some Shiny Toy Guns as well.
