I thought the ending themes were perfect for both Mass Effect's. (Great Guitar in ME1, great Percussion and Vocals group in ME2) That said, the only ending theme I haven't liked that immediately comes to mind is the one that ran for DA2, which seemed very stagnant. Which briefly makes me want to clarify Dragon Age: Origins also had a good ending theme, but not quite as great as the Mass Effect ones.

Anything by Within Temptation would be gold, especially if they put together a version or arrangement specifically for the game. Though personally, I'd suggest Our Solemn Hour or something from their latest album, like Shot In The Dark or In The Middle Of The Night or A Demon's Fate.

Someone should do a trailer that covers all 3 games using Exogenesis as the background music. Starting off with scenes from the first game to part one, scenes from ME2 to part 2 and ending with scenes from ME3 to Part 3.

How about Planet Earth by Prince ? Can't find a video of it, but the theme seems quite appropriate. There's a random cheesy bridge that sounds like a commercial for L'Oréal but it has that super drama queen ending of Prince screaming a lot and making sweet lurv to his guitar.

I wouldnt mind going full circle with M4 Pt II again   Although Im not sure if will be fitting with the multitude of endings ME3 will have.   With ME1 we were just discovering the universe and it fitted the mood.  In ME3 I doubt the mood will be as optimistic for everyone.


Totally don't want Pt1 though. All it is, is a massive 9 minute build up to the riff Pt2 uses throughout.  Very plain in comparison

I still would like to see an original piece by BT.  His 2006 album This Binary Universe is one of my favorite albums of all time.  Here are a couple of samples:

It's the closest thing I can think of to a classical Electronic Album.  I recommend it, outside of any tie-in to Mass Effect.
