After listening to their banter in legacy. I get the feeling izzy been teaching Merrill alot of dirty things. Does anyone else get that impression

Merrill is a dirty minded little Elf. Her party banter alludes to such. Isabela and Merrill have probably slept together. Heck in my playthrough of DA2 I had Hawke sleep with Isabela but not romance her. Instead she romanced Merrill and while she was in party with I think Varric and Aveline and one other character, can't remember which. She's asked if she's okay with being with Hawke. She says she's fine and then she's asked how can she be when Hawke's slept with Isabela. Merrill replies "oh everyone's slept with Isabela. It'd be rude not to."

So yeah I'm thinking they did sleep together.

I always saw Isabela and Merrill as platonic. Well, as platonic as Isabela gets anyway. So I wouldn't be surprised if sex happened at some point, but I don't think that they'd ever go anywhere emotionally. Well, more than it has been shown in game anyway. It's more (potentially naughty) sisterly affection, I think.

Sex between them is inevitable, with or without Hawke. Of course, with Hawke involved it becomes much more interesting. But I do agree that it's just sex combined with a lot of sisterly affection. That sounds very wrong...

it's pretty clear they have each their views on sex and i can't see Merrill doing anyone she's not intimately related to, aka being in love with.
Isabela loves sex without commitment, but doesn't do it with someone she has feelings for, unless Hawke works really hard at getting through to her.

I have no doubt Izzy gives Merrill loads of advice and then some, but they don't sleep together.

Surely "and then some" could include practical demonstrations of the aforementioned advice? I don't think it sounds all that farfetched that Merrill would be curious, and Isabela willing to indulge.

I don't really have an opinion on the matter, one way or the other, but I definitely wouldn't rule out the possibility.

@Wulfram - While I agree that Isabela would never hurt Merrill, there is the possibility that Merrill would be perfectly fine with physical intimacy without the *romance* aspect. There is evident love between the two women, and Merrill's curiosity or desire would be in good hands (so to speak) in that scenario.

Very much this.
I think people have a tendency of reducing Merrill to something of a delicate blushing flower, to whom the very idea of sex without unadulterated romance is something foreign and unthinkable.
Personally, I'd say Merrill's got a healthy curiosity about exploring the possibilities of her own sexuality.
- And I can't imagine a more suitable instructor/aide/partner than Isabela for such a circumstance.

I don't see it as being a regular thing, or a relationship type deal, but I could see it happening once.

I never thought that Merrill had any sort of feelings for Isabela besides sisterly affection, but that doesn't mean that they can't share a moment of physical closeness, especially in an "educational" arena. The only way Merrill would be hurt is if she somehow ascribed more meaning to the act than it was, and I don't really see her as being the type to do that when Isabela's perfectly clear about her intentions.
