I know this is a bit of a random post but when I put this idea on the relic forums (which are full of modders and 40k fans) I was told to go here.Dawn of War 2 put the idea in my head of an 40K RPG thanks to it's abilities and massive amounts of loot and when I saw how open Dragon Age was to modding the idea seemed more pheasable. This isn't really announcement or a request but more of a gauge of community interest, why try to gather a team for something you guys may not want?
Would anyone be interested in a warhammmer 40k mod?

Don't bother. If history is any indication, any mod that gets beyond the "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if?" stage would be about 80% complete, and then Games Workshop's legal department would send a polite letter suggesting you stop development or be sued so hard that your grandchildren will be begging for change.

Im jsut putting the idea out there.I wouldn't mind putting a team toghter and heading it myself but I just wanted to see community interest first.

i love WH40K but it doesn't really fit the world of DAO does it?
WH would be a better fit
but if you are gonna do it, you should jsut start off with getting the armors and the melee weapons i guess.

^It kinda does actually.Once you pull back the fantasy flesh you have a deep and moldable rpg system in your hands, even the classes such as the Ranger,Champion, and Mage translate well into Devestator,Chaplain, and Librarian.

would i like a Warhammer 40k mod for Dragon age?
Yes.. oh yes.
if it were done correctly and not shut down as Hoax suggests, then it would be awesome in my opinion. Bioware has provided an excellent tool for it, so go for it damnit!
