Is it possible to regain Jack/ Miranda's or Tali/ Legion's loyalty if you don't have enough paragon/ rengade points to keep them after the loyalty missions? I lost Jack and could not get her loyal despite having either max or near max parigon points.

I think so. I initially couldn't regain Miranda's loyalty (because there was no way I was going to side with her, Jack might be crazy but Cerberus DID do horrible things to her), even though I had a nearly full paragon bar, but after doing some more stuff (in particular, I just did LotSB), I was able to unlock the paragon option to talk to her. Which was kinda unfortunate, as I really wanted to use the renegade option... it more closely aligned with the way I felt.
Tali/Legion is easier to resolve than Jack/Miranda, though, IIRC.

It is possible but very difficult. You should always aim to get their loyalty during the Jack/Miranda catfight / Tali/Legion standoff. It's very simple actually and I'll quite happily explain how if required. It won't help on your current playthrough though

I have heard that if you lose Jack then you can't get it back, but if you lose Miranda you can get it back. I don't know if it matters in Tali/Legion, I have never heard one way or another.

I personally don't know about Miranda/Jack, or what happens with Tali/Legion if you goof up on the original conversation, but I know you can talk Legion back onto your side. No clue about Tali though.

i didn't know you could lose loyalty at all. i've run renegade and paragon sheps and never lost one persons life or loyalty.

d1sciple, we're talking about when Jack and Miranda argue or Tali and Legion argue. If you don't have enough paragon/renegade points at those points, you're forced to side with one or the other, and if you side with one the other loses loyalty to you.

are you serious? if you've done thier loyalty and it's all going 100% and if you then fail to take their side in the arguement after jacks mission you can lose them? holy **** i never new that and i've run through quite a few times now. i always thought it the obvious choice to not take anyone's side and tell them to shut it, as not only does that make relistic, logical sense but it doesn't affect your LI either.

I believe It depends how paragon/renegade you've been
A strong enough paragon can charm Miranda into thinking that you were only pretending to side with Jack to keep the crazy girl in line.
(Note -this is easier than charming them simultaneously)
Charming Jack seems like a much harder task [if possible] (might be easier to intimidate..except if your intimidation is that good you should just be able to resolve the row without picking a side).
Try getting the 100% persuade bonus from maxing out your "class skill" and see if that helps

For my last playthrough, I resolved Miranda and Jack's argument with two bars and a little more of Paragon points. I did their loyalty missions first (It's the first two I did, completed them as soon as I got them after Horizon).
Oh and I always get the "Paragon/Renegade: +100.00%" bonus of my class as soon as possible in the game.
