[II Relics II]

Like the topic says, who is your favorite partner in the game?

Mine has to be Morrigan, sure it starts out as a fling but once she falls in love with you the relationship starts to blossom, even when you can't have sex with her anymore. I also enjoy her dialogue and the way she gets insecure because you managed to make her fall in love with you, it just makes it feel more authentic. I especially like how she thought she wasn't capable of having emotions for you.

P.S. Why did you have to leave me Morrigan, why?!  I will find her though, dont worry. 

So discuss why you like a certain romance and discuss entertaining dialogue and such...

I would rank the romances as follows:

1) Leliana - Sooo sweet and simply adorable. Delicious.

2) Zevran - He's fun. It's not the deepest or greatest, but it's fun.

3) Alistair - He's sweet and sincere. Not really my style, but it was nice.

4) Morrigan - She's fun at first, then she became insanely aggravating and I loathed her by the end.

Morrigan is too much close-minded and hypocrite. And I prefer warm and fuzzy feelings. And Leli is just cute.

I can't really judge this yet. I know I won't be exploring Alistair or Zevran's romance option (Until I really run out of character ideas...) but I have thus far only explored Morrigan's (I had already ruined my chances with Leliana and was instead a good friend). I thought it was... interesting. She is definitely an interesting character. I do not like say half of her personality though, the fact that she seems to reject you once she likes you to much. Although it does make it somewhat more emotional. And the fact that she still is incredibly selfish and rather mean.

But beyond that. I liked that she got somewhat confused and more 'cute' as you advance in the relationship. Sadly she has to run off at the end. But that's why my last lines were; "I will find her." (Or some such).... well either that or they were "I'd like to see the Circle of Magi have more independence." but... tomato, tomatoe.

But Leliana seems like an interesting choice for my Archer. She seemed a lot more kind and warm, for starters. The whole 'dress up, shoes thing' is still offsetting though.

only played once and was monogamous (there should be an acheivement for only having one romance in a playthrough i feel). aside from the threesome, so no experience of the others but



1. Zev! easiest to lay, hardest to love, was humorous and when you eventually get there, rewarding too.

Having done both Leliana's and Mori's path, I have to say that Leliana's was more rewarding. She's just so adorable and warm and romantic. Almost enough to make me forget that too many real girls are vindictive little snerks that care for nothing but themselves.

I'm thinking that on my first FemRun, I'll try Alistair. His romance sounds like all the things I love about Leli's, except in man form.

Alistair, to the point where I'm really struggling to romance anyone else, I simply adore him.



Playing a dude though this time and giving Morrigan a whirl, entertaining so for but keep going back to my 1st playthrough to re-do Alistair.

Leliana's had some great moments and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I really can't help but feel her romance was written to be the one bright spot in the surrounding darkness.

Morrigan simply because she is an amazing character. In my first play through I didn't give her the kid and she ran off and I was super pissed but I think I made the wrong choice shoulda taken her offer instead of dying like a"hero"

PS: I am surprised Morrigan is in the minority, i guess its understandable
And Leliana is just too umm "Maker this and Maker that" for me kinda annoying.

I like Alistair so much that I'm having a problem on subsequent playthroughs with romancing anyone else. My first male PC playthrough I'm gonna try playing Morrigan and Leli against each other before choosing Leli.

No no, you made the right choice. I felt the exact same way about it but in the end I realized that tough choices had to be made. It made the play-through genuine.

seriously i already think zev has ruined me for other playthroughs, i was counting on alistair saving me, now i will stick with zev and never play female, thanks a lot.

Leliana is just as cute as a button and I want to bottle up her voice and sell it. That said, being a girl and romancing Alistair probably makes the most sense, story wise. He is the most plot-centric character.

Lel is a hypocrite, and insanely annoying. She also talks to much and tries to hard to romance you. Hey, I use to be a bard/spy/manipulative murderer, but now I am extremely religious and a goody two shoes.

When it came to the decision about the Ritual near the end I kept thinking back to the bit where he asked if we might have a future together, and thought "damn straight we do". No noble heroics, I'll take the happily-ever-after.

totally agree about morrigan she was totally my f*g hag, (so of course i knew she'd use some rediculous excuse to try and bed me, don't they all? )

but seriously i had to refuse because i'd gone almost pure paladin all the way through, and it just seemed wrong like cheating, plus wynnes foreshadowed warnings about wardens loving may cause them to act selfishly and risk everything kept ringing in my ears, playing more selfish next time, cuz i still get a lump in my throat thinking about  zev's ending
