Howdy! For a year and a half, I've had no problems with the Toolset on my laptop. After doing a reinstall, I now have no models visible in the Toolset's Item Preview window. I can still modify tints, item parts, and even save the stuff, but I am utterly blind while doing so. On loading the game, I can import items to any of the OCs, and it all shows up fine. Models work perfectly in-game; they are just not showing up in the Toolset Preview window.
I've done two fresh reinstalls, updated DirectX and the .net frameworks, switched everything to compatibility mode, and am running the latest NVidia drivers for my card. Rolling back to older NVidia drivers does not fix this. As I said, this same computer ran the Toolset for over a year with no problems or hardware changes.
At this point, the only thing I can think of is that Windows 7 downloaded an update that's messing with the Toolset. Literally nothing was changed by me before doing the first reinstall (after which it now doesn't work).
Anyone have a clue as to what's going on? My gut says video card, but nothing I've been able to do to my card has had any effect.
I'm on a:
Samsung r580 JSB1US
Pentium Core i5 M430 @2.27 Ghz
NVidia GeForce 310M (Verde 280 driver installed)
8GB RAM
Windows 7 Premium x64 (Fully updated)
.net 3.5 and .net 4.0 framework
DirectX 9.0c, 10, and 11
Toolset Bug: No models appear in Preview window
