Only part of their dialogue was the same. Kaidan called Shepard a ghost while Ash said God. Only after that first part when they are talking to Delan when it became the same. Which was bad.jreezy wrote...
Heated exchange? Not really. Oh and Ash and Kaidan have the same personality if you look at Horizon. I don't know why BioWare thought it was a good idea for Ash and Kaidan to have copy and paste dialog since they did have seperate personalities. Kaidan wouldn't react to a situation the same as Ash would but it happened. I hope BioWare really does differentiate Ashley and Kaidan in Mass Effect 3 but I have my doubts after Horizon.KingNothing125 wrote...
Good for Tali.
Doesn't change anything. Ashley and Kaidan have their own personalities. Sorry they don't see the world through the same lens as Tali and you do.
If your Shep wants to be petty and crap all over the VS because of a brief, heated exchange on Horizon, that's your business. Some of the rest of us can understand their point of view and can let that crap slide.
Okay, you have to explain Psyduck Kaidan in your signature.IsaacShep wrote...

I can understand people and all the sides you are arguing for... but I also want to know if anyone has ever lost someone the same way Kaidan / Ashley did. Not the exact same way to Collector surprise attacks. I just mean in general. Would you honestly react the same way the VS LI did?

I don't think that fits, unless the IRA is fighting Cthulhu.A family member of mine was murdered by the IRA. If anyone I've ever known joined the IRA I would treat them worse, I would never forgive them, or trust them, and I would go out of my way to see them behind bars.

I just think the VS were shocked after just seeing a dead man, who is now working for the ememy. They called Shepard a God/Legend, I dont see how thats bad. They dont know what Cerberus could have done, I mean Miranda did speak of a control chip. Besides it can be implied Anderson doesn't trust Shepard, he wont tell Shepard anything about the VS, ''It's classified. I cant tell you anymore, not whilst you're working with Cerberus'' And he approved of the Horizon mission. And the VS confirmed to Anderson that Shepard was telling the truth, speak to him post Horizon about the VS.

Which is fine, except that this particular terrorist group in-game is spending most of its resources on fighting a much worse threat, something few IRL terrorist groups do.Funkcase wrote...

That wasn't the point I was trying to make, I meant I wouldn't forgive anyone who would work for a terrorist group.

Dude I said that the VS LI heard about the rumors that Shep was alive.... I never said anything about the "classified" conversation Anderson said to Shep.... you missread it

I know you didn't, I brought it up due to the fact everyone is so forgiving of Anderson, but point the finger at the VS. They were just doing what he told them to.

@AdmiralCheez
IF the e-mail prompted Shep to have a private video conversation with the VS LI I would accept it and from there things might have gotten better. A simple e-mail doesnt cut it for me.
Oh, you can play however you want. I never said you can't. Just saying that the VS obviously still cares about Shepard, and saying "it wasn't cheating" and "it's Kaidan/Ashley's fault for breaking my heart" is childish.I usually agree with you Admiral Cheez.... but what you are saying is wrong.... you are basically telling me I cant have the choice to play my canon Shep the way I want to.... I do not wish the same for you though.
