I was not impressed with Shepard being all misty-eyed over VS after Horizon. I wanted to tell him, grow some backbone, you've just been backstabbed. And let's turn down that picture without having to date anyone. I hope this kind of mushy behavior does not repeat in ME3.
They should definitely allow us to treat VS however we like. Those who want immediate make-up sex with VS should be allowed to try. Those who want to put it all behind and just go fight the Reapers should be allowed to do so. And those who wish to discuss Horizon, listen to VS' excuses, then kiss and hug and forget, should be allowed to do so, as well.
Then there are people out there who want Shepard to grovel, apologize for dying, apologize for saving humanity, and declare himself unworthy of VS' holy, noble presence. I don't think they should be allowed such an option.
And then there's me.
I want petty revenge.
If my Shepard and VS must work together, give me an option to be cold and professional with VS. Like Jacob. Or Liara. Those people are positively icy. Shepard had good teachers.
I want to refuse personal conversations with VS under the excuse that there are Reapers to fight and we can't waste time. Meanwhile, I will engage in long, heartfelt discussions with the rest of the crew. And if VS comes too close to me, I'd like to unconsciously back away like they're contagious. If I absolutely must converse with VS, I want to use an opportunity to fondly reminisce my time with Cerberus, absently mentioning that it was the best time in my life.
Can't I have a little fun, here. There's so little fun left.
In fact, speaking fondly of Cerberus to everyone after another mission of Cerberus trying to kill me is probably the only way for me to have fun in ME3. I definitely want to continue to support Cerberus, much to dismay and disbelief of my Alliance associates. And if VS is going to wait for me to regret my actions, they'll wait forever.
There's not much for me to look forward to in ME3. But I still want to see VS issue resolved. I want to see how they explain VS being on your ship now. I want to see how the writers are going to dig themselves out of Horizon.
I support consequences for the VS LI in ME3

Well put good sir... thank you for coming out and showing your support. Remember you are not supporting hate against the VS LI... you are supporting our ability to have a choice in how we handle it.

A lot of unnecessary VS hate it seems. Reminds me of Siansonea II's Restoring trust with the VS posts but in reverse.

I suspect you will have the choice in the form of a renegade/neutral 'But you were a jerk to me!' dialogue option.

Personally my issue with the vs in me2 was 2 fold 1) they became one character who acted initially imho in a very unnatural was 2) the email you get later - how bioware could have averted the cheating etc discussions by simply allowing you to reply (say pick from one of 3 choices - I love you, I hate you, o don't know how i feel for example) but they didn't so I see it that if shep is cheating or not is up to the player and what they think their shep is feeling. Personally all my sheps have stayed loyal to 1 LI 'cos that's how i roll lol!
As to what happens in me3 concerning vs li, I am sure there will be several options, I personally am hoping for an angry, passonate but loving makeup conversation

I agree. I lost all respect for the VS on Horizon.

Am I Bill Murray? Is this Groundhog Day?
Look, the VS has the right to be shocked and upset with Shepard. As far as the galaxy knows, it's not possible for people to be resurrected. Which means the common sense answer is that Shepard did not actually die on the SR1, and has been alive the past two years. I'd be pretty pissed if one of my friends faked his death and neglected to tell me it was fake. Then Shepard pulls out the "Cerberus rebuilt me and now I'm working with them." I don't think it's unreasonable for someone who is already not thinking clearly as a result of the day's events to make an irrational assumption.
At the same time, Shepard has the right to be upset with the VS. Tali trusts me. Garrus trusts me. Joker, Chakwas, Anderson. Hell, even the Council trusts me. The only people who don't give me the benefit of the doubt are the VS and Cpl. Toombs. That's frustrating. But Shepard could have explained what was going on, better than he did. And from an objective viewpoint, I can see being skeptical and unhappy with the situation from the VS' perspective.
Neither side acted in a particularly adult manner. Both have to atone for their words and actions.

I want to make this comment.
Even spacer Shep didn't even bother to contact his/her mom. If Shep can't contact mom, does anyone really thing Shep would contact the VS?
I completely agree, I wish that we had the option to have a follow up conversation with the VS. The fact that I could not talk to the VS killed a chunk of the enjoyability / realism of the game.

Well put... you guys were also negatively impacted by the way ME2 handled the reunion.

Eh? There's an image of your ME1 LI in Captain's Quarters. I certainly didn't need subtitles for that.A lot of Bioware developers talked about "cheating" on your ME1 LI. Except, the problem is that a lot of fans assumed they were WELL and TRULY broken up with Ashley or Kaidan.

Yes, I want Shepard to have the option of being an **** to VS. And I want the VS to acknowledge that the hostility is well deserved after the Horizon fiasco.
