I can imagine Morrigan with the child right now...

PC: Morrigan? I thought you said I'll never see you again?

Morrigan: I was exagerating. I do that.

PC: Is that a child?

Morrigan: Yep, with the soul of the old God.

PC: But we didn't do the ritual!

Morrigan: Urm... yes you did!

PC: But then why is Alistair dead?

Morrigan: No he's not.

*PC turns around*

Alistair: I got better!

Well, the trailers have already set a precedent that the PC was a male human noble warrior if you ask me.

Amusingly enough, I've heard the trailer Warden is actually a Male Human Barbarian, Human Barbarian being an origin that was cut from the final game.

The canon character in this game is simple... Grey Warden Commander.

It's similar in how Baldur's Gate had a canon character called... "The Bhaalspawn".

When I played Baldur's Gate I created a human fighter that eventually became a mage. I transported that character into Baldur's Gate 2, and I completed it just fine. Know what? I played BG 2 several more times, and every time I completed it with a different race/class it was still a Bhaalspawn.

Seems to me that every time I play through DA:O that my character is always referred to as "Warden/Grey Warden". The trailer for the expansion also stats that you play as "Grey Warden Commander". You don't play as Commander Cousland.

uhm sure, but we aren't talking about such minor things. Canon is the official list of choices made. Baldur's Gate doesn't have much of a defined canon, except for that your companions at the end of BG1 were Imoen, Minsc, Dynaheir, Jaheira and Khalid.

If there will be a canon then probably it's what is seen in the trailers. male human noble warrior, did the ritual, Alistair is king.

i think bioware wont make a canon and if there isn't a  save import feature they will just try to avoid mentioning Origins or just be vague about it

There will be no canon.

Nor cannons, though I wish I had some Qunari ones to shoot darkspawn with.
