 I'm brand new to the DA toolset, and I've checked wiki for this along with searching the forums and checking out youtube videos.

I'm having an issue where I can't seem to post right.  (Meaning, after I click export "do all local post" I can't play the game to test it.)

I'm not sure what steps I'm missing.

I created a module, added an area, a monster, a starting point, a light source. Now before I get too far into creating things I wanted to see how I test the area.

(someone mentioned using the Purple + button " create an exportable area") but mines greyed out.

 I'm not getting any errors in the Log Window.

When I load the game DAo I am unable to click on custom content.

Can someone please help identify.
A: where I can go for a tuturial on how to export and play test your module.
B: tell me what steps I'm missing.

there is several tutorials on the datoolsetwiki, that you can reach either throught the toolset or on this webpage. ie games->DAO->wikis->datoolsetwiki

  Hi,

I seem to have a different version of the Toolset then the Wiki site gives instructions on.  

I use version 1.0.1008.0
Database version 1.0.0.194  (Is this the most recent version?)

I'm still trying to figure out why I can't get the Game DAo to allow me to click on custom content and why I can't seem to export right.

Wiki sites refers to this.


My Tools > Export does not have those options.  

I see 
Export > "Do All Export Operations..."
                "Do all Local Post"

Wiki also refers to this option for Overriding the starting area in a test export


I again do not have Export Options.


Also Wiki points to going to "Manage Modules" then picking one of the items in the list.



My list has Two options. "Demo Tutorial" and "Single Player"


I believe I have a toolset that is incomplete/wrong version/something different then what all the wiki sites talk about.

Please help.

You on the right version.

The full export menu is only availble when you have something selected.

and with a blank toolset you should only have those two modules. the above list is the authors pile of small test modules.

The video (even though no sound) has worked. I've been able to correct what I was doing wrong and get myself started.
