Apologies, did not mean to hijack thread.

Personally, I think they're both wrong. Now I'm not inclined to think Jack just walked up to Miranda and said, "Miranda, say that what Cerberus did to me was wrong, or I'll kill you!" That's not her, I haven't seen anything to make me think she'd actively pursue another squadmate just to make them say "uncle."

On the flip side, I *have* seen Miranda feel compelled to put on the captain-save-a-ho routine at the slightest criticism of Cerberus - three times just off the top of my head. She gets salty at Shepard for saying it on Mordin's LM, how do you think she'd respond to Jack doing the same?

For whatever reason Jack is in Miranda's office (I'd say Miranda were writing a mission-report after Jack LM, but that doesn't work since it can be long done by then) I have little doubt they got into a verbal spat, which caused the fight. In which case, both are wrong. Period. Miranda should be mature enough to brush it off, and even Jack know better.

It's POSSIBLE that Jack went in there and flat-out threatened Miranda, who was innocent all along, I wouldn't buy it though. Like I said, that's not her style IMO.

Sorry for the hijack; Miranda and Jack were wrong. /End

Back on topic, again, I'd like to see what Jack does to Ashley in ME3... For some reason I just don't think they'd get along....

Here's what I'm pretty sure happened with the Teltin/Pragia ordeal: http://social.biowar...7816799#7829016

That catfight would be ****ing scary. I'm not sure the Normandy would survive that.Image IPB

You know what I just thought about? Being the pig (read: man) that I am, I've only been considering catfights. What would happen if my Liara-loving Femadept hooks it up with Mr. Taylor? Or Garrus? Or Thane? I think Liara could take Jacob. Possibly Garrus too. Thane not so sure.

Well they could have an outcome where they both dump your indecisive ass lol. But I would say, its going to be one, the other or neither. I don't think the situation is capable of anything beyond that. Cue the threesome brigade....

Yep.  Watch me get shot down by both and go crawling to Liara for comfort.  She'll be all, "Oh no, Shepard!  You turned me down in the first game!  GTFO!"

You mean Uncharted Territories right? Maybe Tormented Space? Or to bring it somewhat closer to home, the Attican Traverse or the Terminus Systems.

Maybe I should break out the B5 sledgehammer...

The Earth Alliance has no food that good but I've heard there's a dish in the Centauri Republic -- spoo -- that is to die for.

Immagine if you could successfully juggle more than one relationship... they would have to make it hard to cover that up.

I have a similar problem to the OP with an interesting twist. I did not intend to romance Ashley in ME1.  I actually refused her at the end, but it was interpreted as continuing the romance. I didn't read between the lines well enough, I suppose. Does this mean my ME2 romance will hate me in ME3? I sure hope not. I'm confident Bioware won't mess it up, though.

I think the two worst fights would be Ash and Jack (the two hottest tempers) and Kaiden and Garrus. Jacob would just be a Johnny come lately and Thane is easy enough to wait for him to croak but Garrus knew Kaiden already; there would have to be blood.

Liara will do what Liara did in LotSB. Just step aside.

The whole source of this problem is fabricated. They decided not to have Ash or Liara in the game as a squadmate. You could continue the romance with Liara, and everything is fine up to that point, but after the Shadowbroker part all she says is "thanks for stopping by." Kind of immersion breaking. With As you get an "I'm sorry, but your being a tool" message.

Granted Shep was dead, but when you show up alive Liara and Ashley both treat you like its all your fault anyways. Now, as a player, if you wanted a relationship in the game you had to cheat.

(Just my 2 credits).

What scares me is that the "consequences" will be worse than just a break-up. Like I'd be pissed if Ash is no longer on my team because of it.

I know; what if one of the LIs has to die? I don't think they would do that, but somehow I can just picture it at the same time...

Jack or Ashley? - Sorry Ashley.
Thane or Kaidan? -  Well, it could be worse Kaidan, you could have been Virmire'd.
Garrus or Kaidan? - Sorry Kaidan, he has mandibles! And that voice!

Of course... I have a few loyal playthroughs... but  I want to see how this confrontation thing will go down...

I think it was handled perfectly in Lair of the Shadow Broker. Liara is understanding an the option for an amicable break-up is there. I don't mind the 2 lis not liking each other. As I mentioned before, I'm a dude and I like catfights. But if one of them dies or leaves the team because of it. I'll be pissed.

I really hope there won't be any catfights at all. Not only because I think that all of them are too mature to get into petty fights while around them various planets get attacked by Reapers. But also because if Ash/Kaidan actually view Shepard hooking up with someone else two years after they last saw each other as cheating, shouldn't they get pissed at Shepard? Same with a ME2 LI that thinks Shepard not telling them about a past LI or officially breaking up with a past LI equals cheating.
I don't expect them to like each other or even to be civil to each other all the time but catfights would just feel cheap.

I would however love it if some characters would actually end the romance with you if they found out you cheated, leaving you no choice (I know,I know it's not going to happen)
