I let my 4 year old try to play. She loves it, but she is the only person I have seen get killed while on the Normandy

No, my boyfriend is a gamer too and he already knew it when I met him. He likes ME but on a "standard-gamer" level, completed it and then moved to other games.
Storyline appeals to me more, so that does indeed work. However, my boyfriend is so strikingly like me; he digs story, too, and couldn't care less about game mechanics. It's almost eerie how similar we are, now that I think about it.Caseshep wrote...
Same for me.
My boyfriend played ME1 a long time ago when it first came out. Then I played it more recently, fell in love with it, and that's making him replay it. But he hasn't played ME2 yet.
He's more interested in the combat, I'm more interested in the storyline.
So maybe the storyline and/or romance will appeal to your girlfriend more. And as a disclaimer: I don't mean that most women are only interested in romance. Just saying it is a big appeal, since it makes the game more personal in my opinion.
How dreadful! I am truly sorry.Vanaer wrote...
My girlfriend doesn't really like to game, except a Kinect or Wii game at times. Haven't introduced her to it; she just shrugs when I play a game... that's short before she berates me that I should read more...

My husband to be in 7 days *woot!* does not like playing but will watch. He watches me play them all, ME1, ME2, DA:O, DAII (sorry hun). He even wrote in my birthday card "the Maker wishes you a awesome birthday" LOL! I try to get him to play but I think he has watched me play them all so much, he knows the storyline so it's no fun.
My BIL and I are ME nerds, when I go to their house we nerd it up talking about ME and lately ME3. It's hilarious because my hubby will roll his eyes and his mom will to and say, "I have no clue what they have been talking about for 2 hours... lets go". It's amusing.
