Oh, C&C4. After all the goodwill EA had built up with Tiberium Wars, I don't how they managed to **** that one up that badly. 

But yeah, as far as hating the games we're on these forums for BSN is par for the course on the internet. We just tend to be a lot more elitist and intellectual about it. 

EDIT: Also, our pony quotient seems higher. But I don't spend much time on the Bungie or Epic or IW forums so I can't really say.

The people in the community aren't that bad persons, but it's extremely annoying that people here go under the wrong idea that their opinions matter to someone, so they'll argue to oblivion... also, while every forums is filled with less-than-average intelligent persons, here everybody acts smart, even though most of the posts in argues are extremely stupid or import opinion/preference as fact... 

That's what makes the community appear bad.

In most cases, I'd agree with you, but there are some genuinely smart people I've met on here. 

I don't think it's what makes the community appear bad either. ****s are ****s no matter their intelligence level, and we've got our fair share.

At times I think these boards are suffering extremes then anything else, for there are plenty on rational conversations between different people here and then you have a couple that make you lose your faith in humanity. I also have to tip my hat to the moderators and BioWare staff for they wallow in the bad posts, but continue to stop by and communicate with us. Not to mention the mods also try and keep these boards borderline sane most of the time.

WoW forums. it was questionable before the merge into new format after cataclysm. but its gotten much much worse.

BSN has its ups and down and lord knows I've done my share of arguing and complaining, but these forums are really not so bad.

that said some of the nicest forums I've ever belonged to were official LOTRO forums. LOTRO community in general is pretty descent, as long as you stay away from general global channels

The BSN can get kind of maddening but its not like "frothing at the mouth" kind of maddening. I've seen that on the City of Heroes boards. By The Goddess... I avoid the yellow-orange section of the Toy aisles for I dare not want to see the word "nerf" used outside of the internet. EVER.

Yeah, No Mutants Allowed is pretty bad. God forbid you say you enjoyed Fallout 3 as much as Fallout 1 and 2, or even at all.
