Can anyone explain how to unzip the dazip files and how to use the updater?

Don't unzip them! Just drag them into the daupdater.exe program that's in the /bin_ship folder. The updater does the rest of the work for you.

You don't need to open them, just open the updater, drag the dazips into the window and drop them there, then highlight them in the list and click the Install button. When it says done, install more, or close it. Done.

its not letting me drag the files into the daupdater?  Am I doing something wrong? Or is there an alternative method?

Sure. Click the "Select DAZIPs" button and then browse to the files that you want to add. You can select more than one at a time by holding down the CTRL key and clicking multiple files.

lol nvm.  I realized that I had to rename the file as .dazip.  Thanks for the quick reply tho! Appreciate it! ^^

Right, Internet Explorer thinks it's helping you by renaming anything that looks like a ZIP file into file.zip. You have to manually change them back to file.dazip, or use a different browser.

where is the best website for these mods?, because i dont seem to be getting any dazip files, i even had to re-download the entire game

You can get them either from the Projects tab at the top of the forums or from Dragon Age Nexus.

oh ok cool, now my problem is the basic how to even download the files and make it work on the game, because for some reason i cant change the eye color of my character, no matter what it stays the same , so im looking for a mod that does that, but i need to knw the basics on how to download them and have it working. Because this is more complicated than World of Warcraft
