After ME3, they can do whatever they want.

Trying to put in multiplayer less than half a year before release? Not going to happen if they're aiming to release a quality product.

Multiplayer wouldn't take a full year to develop. Half a year is alittle more moderate. And guess for how much was ME3 delayed.... 6 months. Huzzah!

4 month delay, not 6.

I actually think its for the Warhammer 40K game. Unreal 3 had firearms and melee weapon combat. Besides as of right now Phaedon's main post still says that the Online Multiplayer was just a rummor.

This is late I know, but I want to point out that it's THQ who holds the exclusive rights or license to Warhammer 40k thanks to Relic and their Dawn of War series.

Again, Casey said ME3 is in final production.

That was said little after ComicCon, while on GamesCom and PAX multiplayer wasn't even mentioned.

Also at GamesCom schedule list it was said we will see multiplayer in ME3( since person who made that list did lazy job in research) and you know what happen at GamesCom.

Alright, I want an honest answear. Does anyone think there is actually going to be any MP? I bet the everyone says NO but are really conflicted and don't know what to believe at this point. Why can't BW just say there is, there isn't or are considering it. It isn't a marketing gimmick, it's plain stupid to play with people's heads like this.

There may be -   I like the idea of the co-op in games like Mass Effect sense its already built around a player vs enivorment type of game - addinga co-op  mission mode the progressivelly gets hard unlockes  stronger skills, items and such is not bad road to take. 
 
Competitive - I don't know see happening - you would have rebalance all the skills for the Player vs Player and that is just a pain.

Yes, but I was already pretty sure considering Casey's way of answering the multiplayer question.

Rumors and speculation are a decent way to generate attention; wouldn't be surprised if the PS3 "slip of the tongue" back in late 2009 was there for just that reason.

No offense, but you're messing with your own head.

I'm not the least bit conflicted at it. If ME3 had multiplayer, they'd have shown it by now. Why? Because they can't advertise a feature that they don't show people. Every piece of 'evidence' has been flimsy at best, and outright laughable at worst. And people still keep obsessing over it.

No, I don't know why they don't just outright confirm or deny it. Maybe it's policy. Maybe they're thinking about it at some future date and don't want to contradict themselves. Hell, maybe they're EVIL. I don't know. But until I see something more than vague ramblings, I'm betting heavy on it not being in.

Oh yes, just like the rumor that ME3 is also going to be on Wii. It's bad marketing when everyone, especially on YouTube, hate the fact that ME3 could have MP. That's not good marketing if everyone makes it clear they hate it.

And no, I don't think nor want any multiplayer in ME3.

I don't work in marketing or at Bioware or at EA, so I don't know what their line of reasoning is. But I believe in what I see, and I'll sooner believe in Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. Hell, at least they have pictures.
