I spilt blood in the urn and wynn and leliana tried to attack me and alister, it took all of my health potions but i defeated them and the guardian but I don't have a rogue now as I released Zevran form the ambush.  I'm wondering, what would have happened if I didnt have Leliana in my party?  Would she still stay with me as I am trying to romance her but I really want the reaver specialization?

If leliana is not in your party, she will remain in your team. if wynn is not in your party, she leaves the next time you enter camp.

Or take a cheap route and reload after you unlock the specialization.

What do you mean. If you reload the game it doesnt re-lock the specialization?

Nope. Once a specilization is unlocked, it's unlocked for good. Even if you start a brand new file, it will still be unlocked.

What I found on one playthrough is that if you have a high enough coersine and play it right you can convince her to stay, though it involves dodging the subject of what you did there.

That involves "hardening" her, but Wynne attacks you anyway.

Guess it worked out better since I didn't have Wynne yet when I did it.

Wynne will always attack if shes present and leave if shes not.

Leilana will stay if shes not present, and can be convinced to go along with you if shes "hardend" otherwise she attacks.


But as already said, once you unlock a spec it unlocks for your account not your game so its unlocked forever. You can simply load a game before you defiled to ashes and do something else instead and keep reaver spec.
