- Give the dwarven beggar a sandwich or some coin.
- Help the injured mabari in the basement.
- Have more discussion options before the Landsmeet with all members of my party. They're all so chatty in the beginning, but once you're in Eamon's estate, nothing. I would love to get all their opinions (Dog's included) on who they think should rule Ferelden and why.

And why not? Many real kings were (still are) also lords over some land and head of the army.
Fergus is much better candidate for a throne than whiny Alistair or Anora with her petty intrigues.

It's sad but it was on my Cousland playthrough that I truly noticed how incredibly whiny Alistair is. And all the groaning... Grow a backbone, man. Your queen disapproves -20.Klidi wrote...

Back to wishing:
• Ride a horse or some kind of mount.
When you talk to Elora about her sick halla, one of your conversation options mentioned having similar animals and using them as mounts. Was it just too much additional work to incorporate into the final game?
I haven't read any of the stories or lore outside of the game, but for those of you who have, is there no mention at all of horses or stables in any of them?

Oh yes, there's quite a few horsemen in the series. Hell, one of Maric's minor catch phrases (it's a catch phrase in my mind, at least) is "I fall off horses". Plus, the dreaded Orlesian Chevaliers are horsemen. From what I've read, Fereldan is too mountain-y for horses to be used as anything other than as beasts of burden.ylaenna wrote...

Whoever told you that was messing with you. You can bed Iona during the Origin, but she does die during the invasion.redplague wrote...
I don't understand how you can bed Iona as you can only do it as a warden but you only become a warden after the castle is invaded?

I wish there had been other possible outcomes for Alistair and Goldanna. Perhaps I missed something, but she did not seem to be invited to Alistair's Coronation. Not that I could see, anyway.

^This, plus I wish my companions would offer some kind of freaking commentary regarding seeing the Archdemon IN THE FLESH in the Deep Roads and discovering the horrific truth about how the darkspawn multiply - both of which have some of the largest implications on the backstory in the ENTIRE GAME.
Hell, none of the characters seem to even acknowledge that this stuff took place AT ALL, other than Oghren (and he still doesn't have much to say). And though the little guy is one of my favorite characters in the game, I can't help but be thoroughly pissed off by how he cracks jokes about Hespith and seems overall callous to the poor woman's plight. It's despicable.
I love you, Bioware, but you seriously dropped the ball on that section of the game. It makes no sense whatsoever that characters wouldn't comment on or even acknowledge what happens in the Dead Trenches. It's the one huge gripe I have with this otherwise amazing game - shame on you for not fleshing that part out more.

I think she reacted quite normally.
It certainly doesn't look like a big 'love story' between Goldanna's mother and Maric. More like he abused his position, seduced a servant, made her a child and then never gave a damn again. How old she could be when the 'babe' was born, and she was left orphaned? 15? 16? And they gave her some money and sent her away to Denerim.
And then suddenly 'the babe' appers in her house, dressed in fancy armour (perhaps even accompanied by what looks like his own elf servant), and wants to play big happy family.
What would you do? Hug him and kiss him?
I know I would be even worse.
But that doesn't mean that given the time they couldn't become friends.

Oghren approves of this message - and Morrigan needs to make up for her lack of participation at The Pearl, anyhow.

Sorry, I lost track of this thread and did not see this question.
Would I invite her? Hmm, probably I would. But more to the point, Alistair (unhardened) wants to mend that relationship. He promises to make things better for her. When Alistair ascends to the throne it appears to make his s-s-s-sister a member of the royal family. It seems an oversight for him not to invite her.

I wish Jarvia could have become Queen of Orzammer, with an option to marry Oghren as her consort if he was agreeable.

I wish I could make Anora duel her father. Maybe they'd kill each other. At the very least it would be an interesting scene.

Do recall he's a strong warrior, a templar, and a Grey Warden. If you honestly tried that, I'm pretty sure Alistair could take you, unless you built him weakly.StoneTheCrow wrote...
I wish I could tie Alistair up, lock him in a room, and beat some sense into him instead of letting him run off after I spare Loghain.
