This is my first attempt to claim the Starfang sword and from what I've read you need to get the "superman" theme cutscene where you obtain it. 

I got the cutscene, afterwards I was unable to find it in my inventory.  From what I've seen online it is supposed to be located in the "plot inventory" section.  I don't see it at all.  I spoke with the NPC at Wardens Keep, Mikhael Dryden, but there is no option for dialog relating to the quest to obtain Starfang. 

Is it possible to lose this item?  A glitch perhaps?  Anyone else having this problem?  Obviously I'm on PS3.  I'm really bummed out here.  I was looking forward to using this weapon during my playthrough.

If anyone has some info on this, please, let me know.  Thanks in advance.

The cutscene doesn't give it to you. After you see it, you'll cross that same spot and have to loot the meteor. Did you do that?
