Its one thing to be born with positive attributes, its another thing to earn them, as most people of intellect have to. It just appeals to me more, that and the level of intelligent discussion we can have, ability to work together etc.

Taking time to constructing informed and well-developed opinions/arguments.

The right of all people, including my friends, to form and express their own opinion regardless of whether I think it is "acceptable".

Bringing up my children as well as I can.

Not being an opportunist criminal on the quiet, and assuming everyone else is, too (see fightright2's comment above).
