 I bought Dragon Age: Origins on the dic for PC, installed that and started playing, a few hours in, I went and got Awakening, installed that and continued playing. Now, when I open the game with the Awakening disc in, it does not give me the option to click other campains and also when I opened my saved game, it told me that I would have to "Force Load" because Awakening wasn't installed. I decided to just do it anyway so I could continue playing, now I cannot damage anyone, nor can they damage me, thus unable to play.

I have DAOrigins, V1.00. Here's my specs: (Although doubt they are nessecary.)

Duo Core 2.1GHz
4GB RAM
AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radean HD 4250

I have no mods installed. After randomly looking through files and such, I kind of think it has something to do with the Settings "AddIns.XML" file, or something similar. That assumption is also based off lots of googling.

If there is any other information needed to help get this fixed, I'll be happy to answer it, also I will be waiting here for answers, so, if you could stick around afterwards for a few moments, (If you have the time) that would be great.

Edit: I just tried to make a new character to play in the mean time and I cannot see my character during the character creation. =S And stats also don't increase even though my stats left do.

Oh, also, I tried deleting my whole "Dragon Age" folder and the "BioWare" folder in Documents, then reinstalled.

You need to update to at least patch 1.03 for Awakening (1.04 if you want to play Witch Hunt or Golems).

Go to http://social.biowar...page/da-patches, download the file "Dragon Age: Origins 1.04 (all languages)" (90mb) and run the file.

If you have further problems after updating don't hesitate to ask

You need to get the notedpad ++ though (it's free).
