Has anyone experienced a 10-15 second delay in these areas when loading? Seems to happen to our players even in the areas that have few plcs and npcs. Any ideas to fix it? Thanks!

Hmmm...can't say that I noticed that. I can say that Lord Rosenkrantz's Mountain tileset does create huge lag with certain graphic cards (of which I used to have).
Perhaps it is something similiar?

Older graphic cards and low RAM machines cannot handle LOWs tilesets and loading area takes ages... Nothing you can do about it(if this is the case), its the price for quality.

My laptop is less than a year old, made to run with heavy photo editing software, and it still lags. Player having the most trouble uses NVidia 8800

check this post for newer nvidia cards and the solution, as my newest 1 gig vid card horribly lagged until I fixed it with newest patch by nvidia.

all set aside, others did point out that this tileset is by no means made for lower end machines. I created SF with alot of polygons, alot of textures and also (since it was my earliest work) alot of repetitiveness (duplicated textures that should be condesned into one, etc) but at this point its beyond easy fixes without breaking alot of old content /mods/pw's that use it.

Thanks, will try with driver updates. The systems aren't old or low end, so I think you're right about the graphics cards.
