RPG Codex gave me cancer.

There was this one site that I stumbled on a few years ago. It was a religious website (which one I forget)
I had it bookmarked and everything. Thought it was the funniest site. When the top viewed threads are stuff like "god doesn't want women to vote" or "Rational thinking is evil" It was some pretty nasty things being said to anyone who disagreed but I thought it was funny. For a while I thought it was a joke site and anyone who joins is just being trolled I mean who would make the argument that "rational thinking debunks the bible so its obvious that rational thinking has no place in our society"

I have never seen a more entitled group of online people congregated together in my life. It didn't help that the creators of The Codex were completely freakin' dellusional and as such fostered the atmosphere. Who is Frank O'Connor and why did he demand to see him?

The long version of the story: Alex Wynn and the cronies at Edgeworks were trying for three years to get Bungie to sign off on their machinima, The Codex (which was actually pretty decent until it took a hard left turn and became a fan fic). They even hired a lawyer. They had been supposedly calling Bungie in vain, so I doubt Bungie did not know who they were. 

Frank O'Connor: For a long time, he was Bungie's liason to their forums. So, in addition to assaulting Bungie HQ in a fit of immature indignation - he didn't even do enough research to go to the right guy.

Not that I condone it. I'm just expressing disbelief that this sort of thing gets people's dander up. It's pretty ridiculous and I just find it comical, the moreso the more serious they are.

VN board back when it's was active (The daoc board) . The trash talking and name calling was intense . I was banned each week .  Yet it's was the most awesome gaming community i have been part . Thing change.

Mythic employee had the biggest  ball of steel to enfure all the stuff  the fans did . Today it's rainbow compared to this.
So it's was the worst and the best community . At the worst it's was ugly and at the best awesome.

Codex is the worst, DA2 nonspoiler forums were almost as bad when BioWare just let people run wild in those forums.

You just made the assumption that I'm saying they are bad because they are white nationalists. I personally dislike nationalists of ALL kinds. I only said white nationalists because that's what they call themselves.

4chan also pretty much speaks for itself.

Stormfront is kind of amusing to browse once in a while, though, if only for the sheer stupidity of it all. It makes for some great satire, albeit unintended.
