Not entirely true. If you rival Sebastian and convince him that he needs to retake Starkhaven, then he will. It is true that if you don't kill Anders he leaves, but it's also true that he planned to leave anyway.esper wrote...
Sebastian's loaylty is not tied to friendship/rivalry - but only to what you do with Anders.

Is that what he says? I'll have to give that a go. It's just a shame that he doesn't leave before hand.

He says he's going to retake Starkhaven, but he won't do at the moment because Elthina is in danger. He thinks he needs to stay to protect her.

let's think about this for a second, Sebastian has few to no allies, no army and he still has to fight a war to reclaim Starkhaven. Even if he does somehow manage to succede in retaking starkhaven all he'll have is an army that just got it's resources drained from a civil war, which he plans on sending to invade another city. I don't see that going well for him.Hayes1987 wrote...
Yes but any info was still much appreciated. I just think he is the most spontaneous mislead fool and if possible I would avoid him being there during that incident. But I guess thousands will suffer because of Sebastions need for "justice" sigh*

Unless his "righteous" fury fuels his need for vengence. Never underestimate a zealot, especially one who is proven right by having a person important to him murdered.

I suppose there is some hope for the average uninvolved peasants of Kirkwall afterwards!

I really hope that by the times Sebastian has retaken Starkhaven he realizes that my Hawke and Anders have left Kirkwall long ago... If he is still stupid enough to take on Kirkwall... My Hawke will be cheering from the shadows watching how a chantry city is fighting a templar city and killing each other without her having to lift a finger.
