I don't care for the 'camp' I would just like a centralised inventory system. The camp was somewhat of a drag.. I felt the companions houses in DA2 gave it dare I say it "Variety"

I'd also like to see the unique hubs change over the course of the game. One of the most jarring things is that Fenris still has corpses in his house all those years. I could accept them being there when we first go into the mansion during Bait and Switch, but when he moves in the corpses should've disappeared.

I imagine that said corpses are fake decorative pieces as one would figure that decomposition would have settled in over 7 years. Fenris likely picked up a few wicker-paper-mache faux corpses at Pier One.

Image IPB that's the only acceptable way for him to have corpses in his house. Though why he would feel any sort of attachment to corpses is beyond me.

Hey now, Corpse-Couches are all the rage in Tevinter homes. And since many Tevinter homeowners also practice necromancy, it serves both fashion and function.

And you know they use the bodies hanged to the walls or lying on gorund for something else different too... :?

"By the way... do you happen to know what the fine is here in Tevinter for necrophilia? Just asking." - Falanu Hlaalu.

On topic: Yes. I like to see something like the camp where you can equip the companions' weapons and armor (obviously), use their skills (which will obviously return because BW wouldn't dare to dumb down their game a second time), and talk to them at any time (obviously with twice as much dialogue than DA:O to make up for the silly DA2 system). Obviously. ;)

I believe Hawke should've gotten a bigger mansion in act 3 and all his companions woulda moved in to live with him. By bigger mansion I mean bigger like the Dupuis Mansion size, that's easily enough room for a renegade mage, pirate queen, dalish elf, emo elf, trusty dwarf, guard captain and chantry brother.

No. I actually didn't like redoing all those conversations. At least you weren't missing a thing with DA2's system, unless you didn't do all the quests. If they bring back the camp system, they better add the DA2's questing stuff to make it easier to get your relationship straights with the characters. I also want Friendship and Rivalry to come back.

you guys, you don't need a camp, why do the companions have to be there?
My thought is when Hawke is at the estate, you open your inventory and everybody is listed there, you equp the rings, weapons right from there...no need to see the companion you can't change their armor

I don't care if there's a camp, or a mansion, or even that everyone be in the same place, but I do want there to be a way to equip companions all at once, instead of having them in my party. I did not enjoy having to leave the Hawke mansion to equip a companion, just to see what their stats were, then go back to the mansion, then equip them again to apply the changes. So much for technology moving forward.

And while I'm on the subject, I'd like to see companions move around more freely. We saw cutscenes of Isabela at Fenris' house, and Merrill at the Hanged Man playing cards with Isabela, but why didn't we actually SEE that extra person standing there before initiating a conversation? It would be lovely to see changes in the environment and with companions. I know this is possible, BW did it in ME2. Heck, Joker was even able to spin around in his chair, and talk to you even while you were walking away. Not everything has to be a cutscene. I'm just sayin...

I rather the companions have their own places, but if the story calls for a camp, then I won't mind it.

I want a "camp" area where i can change items/level up my companions without changing my party around like DAO.

Anything else is just a bonus.

Yes, I get fed up swapping companions in and out just to check everyone is equipped the way I want them to be.
The group camp was the perfect place for equipment allocation.

The camp or individual homes, either way is fine. Just don't move them around too often. Hunting for them when I want to talk to them could be kind of irritating.

If DA3 is set in two nations, then I think we will be seeing a party camp unless the game is divided into two parts, one set in each nation and each nation has a party base.

The camp setting I don't care for, a hub to be able to equip everyone w/o loading up 3 people, leaving, doing equipment crap, re-entering the house, getting 3 more and so on. If you are going to make me play stupid inventory games at least minimize the pain I suffer having to dink around with that boredom.

If they had a group camp, I'd like the companions to do more than stand around uselessly. Maybe if someone was sharpening their sword when you go over to talk to them. Not a euphemism. And keep the companion interactions that they had in DA2 (like Isabela and Merrill playing cards when you go to talk to Izzy).
