I thought the game was great overall. The campaign was long, challenging and very enjoyable... There were a few parts of the game that I thought were lacking. Items were a huge one, by the end of the game I actually stopped exploring the dungeons to their entirity, doing side quests and taking a rogue with me. The items is this game were lacking and were very uninteresting and many were useless... Sure there are defiently a few cool pieces of equipment in the game, but few and far between. 99% of the stuff I pulled from chests or other clickables was crap and I would either sell it or consume it. It just de-motivated me from doing many side quests and opening every chest because it was more or less a waste of time with very little reward.
Shops too were fairly annoying, stocked with usually crap gear, other then a few more useful pieces of equipment that still aren't all that great are ridiculously over priced and not worth it.
I'm not saying the game needs to be item based, but defiently throwing in a few more interesting items scattered throughout the game for all the different classes or character. I'd love to see shops tweaked and more items created and not going with the whole "Oblivion" theme of populating the world with 95% useless crap.
Also warriors could use a bit of TLC, maybe more stamina? defiently balancing issues for all the classes and sub-classes. But mages defiently dominate and some sub classes are much weaker then others. aka shapeshifter vs arcane warrior.
In the future I hope mods and patches continie to make the game more interesting. I'd love to play through it again but I'll wait for awhile. I hope the future DLC's are better then Soldiers Peak as well. That quest/dungeon was incredibly short, served no real purpose, and didn't really add in anything new.
Sweet game, I'll play through it again after some patches and mods!
