Since western game industry has been (ab)using oriental settings quite a few times, it's about time they get paid back in full.

I see this was created 3 months ago, but if any1 comes back to this post can someone tell me if they have said if you really need online for the 2 support pawns (""companion"") I know you get 1 main one, but just seems ridiculos and stupid that the other 2 are online required, granted decent idea though not new.. but for all those that don't have online for their consoles to be 2 members down just seems to me to be a game breaker with how this game has them... I think and hope they just give 2 vanilla ones like the ones you see in their trailers or something and than when want you can change them out for ones created online that way would still work and make sense.
Thank you for any info.
You don't need online to have a full party. They've created a number of pawns that are available to choose from for this very reason. Apparently, they've made around 20,000 pawns you can recruit offline. So, yeah, you don't need to worry.

If you look at it, its a head of the snake (dead) in a couple of the released vids. So if you were at all serious sorry to point that out lol.

I think between this, Skryim, and Kingdoms of Am. I won't need to buy anymore fantasy based RPGs for a long long time lol.

3 as I said and I think others.
You fully customize your first one and she/he stays with you from begining to end as your main one (companion).
Than you get 2 more that are purely for supporting and are even called supports -> which if the person that responded to my question is right you choose from 20,000 offline ones or online player made ones and can change them any time you go to a special stone.
Basicaly from all I have read and seen you basicaly get a companion and 2 mercenaries in other words even though all 3 are pawns, 2 are called supports that can be changed out any time and more than likely never talk to much outside of combat where your first one/main will at times.
You will also have to keep in mind this is capcom and more action than rpg so even if the other 2 did would be very little and even the main one will not be as well made as anything in bioware they call them pawns for that reason I would assume, but compared to bethsoft's they have a chance to be better or at the least the main one so be happy for that
[O and by seeing 4 I assume you either maybe saw like a random npc, guard type of thing or got confused with the player character with the video jumping like crazy and the fact your pawns are the same classes as your player can be]

Did they announce a PC version for this one or is it still limited to consoles?
"There is a possibility to get ported if there in future if their is a lot of demand. That's what Hiroyuki Kobayashi, producer of the game, said to 1UP during Captivate 2011"
Though I presonaly don't to much care as I will be gaming on it with my console

And poor poor Billy
I would have rode him into battle, till I found a dragon or a griffin at least.
But yeah its funny how all three of the games I've listed have a simular feel or such, but are so far apart from each other.

Thanks a ton, ya watched a video of the tutorial level or what I assume was at least a very early one possibly and it went to the stone to call the supports and didn't show any online thing which made me really hope and assume that online is defintly not needed, but as I still have not read or seen anything any where as to what they do I was still worried.
But it really good to hear there is 20,000though that seems like an exageration unless they just have a system of radomizing it for them as no game in history has made 20,000 characters lol.
Just outa curiositywhere did you read/see that ? In no way am I thinking you are wrong or anything like that since if they didn't have something for offline users than the game would be broken and make many many people angry just wondering since I have not seen any info on it.
