I too would favour a final deciding one-on-one battle. It would have been preferable in the case of Saren and Vasir too. They would just need to set it up right as an honourable duel is not exactly a good military strategy when the stakes are so high. One way the could have done it was the team members "engaging the minions keeping them away from the battle/buttun of doom" and/or "keeping the bomb from going of/hacking the computer" so that shep can engage and neutralise the main big baddie in single combat.

if they managed to make a fist fight segment ala mgs4's final battle between snake and ocelot then i'd be all for it. I'd even go one step beyond and make different special moves for renegade/paragon shepards with more dirty fighting for renegades and more technical fighting for paragons.

I hate to be a realist on this one, but Kai Leng will most likely fight like a Phantom and you'll spend the entire fight shooting at him. Don't expect anything epic.

Yeah, well, it's not like he ever exhibited special powers in the novels, or anything. It's more the situation he shows up in that'll make you hate him, I think.
