Again, Pushin him would require either more physical strenght, or greater muscle activation (velocity), just because you can benchpress 500 pounds doesn't mean you can hold your own in a fist fight..DaftArbiter wrote...

So you're telling that you RP a "purist", non-transhumanist Shepard, and so you don't get cybernetic upgrades and go through the whole game gimped? If you did I take my hat off to you good sir because you're indeed a glutton for punishment. Otherwise... well you figure it out I'm not trying to start a flamewar.
Understood, I'm not trying to start one either. It's just that I don't care if he's a cyborg or not (well, technically he is, but then, so is everyone) but they hint pretty strongly that he doesn't have that many things that were changed about him from his "death" when his body stopped functioning. Shepard is pretty clearly weaker than krogan (Grunt bullrushes him and he's forced to resort to a pistol to get Grunt to back off, and he has to use the tank-bred one that's defending Okeer to get past the metal barrier so he can reach the warlord). And he doesn't demonstrate any crazy, special senses or abilities that other humans can't technically do. The likelihood that he's got a bunch of extra implants that make him much more powerful is pretty low.
Grunt smashes him into the ship, sheperd doesn't even flinch. Obviously he was moved by grunt due to the difference in mass and velocity.
IF that were true, do you think Shep just felt like sitting there when Grunt could snap his neck, instead of pushing him off after he got tackled?
I don't know why you're arguing with me, since you're more or less just agreeing with what I'm saying: Shepard lacks the physical strength to overpower a krogan, so should we really think that he has some kind of cybernetic-induced super-strength? Just because he caught a yahg off-guard doesn't mean that he's super-strong or anything. He's just a competent fighter, not an ubermensch.

Im having trouble understanding how a hand-to hand combat boss fight with him would even be feasible. Just mash your melee button as fast as you can?
Yay, more quick time events.
I bet it's just a long gunfight with Kai deploying really annoying tactics like smoke grenades and hit and runs.
Annoying to you, but refreshing to me. I like when my opponents can think tactically and on the fly.

Going by the codex on the 'Widow'....Shep did receive cybernetic upgrades while he was dead, otherwise he wouldn't be able to use that weapon....From what I understand Shep is un-naturally strong.naledgeborn wrote...
Aww come on now. You're going to use gameplay/story segregation on me? Let's assume he (for the sake of pronouns) does have those cybernetic upgrades. It would mean that Shepard. physically, is remarkably superior to the average man of same age and build. So with that I'd think he could easily keep up if not hold his own in a hand-to-hand with Thane, Keng, Saren, Wrex, SB ect. This is before taking N7 spec ops training into account.

Im looking forward of fighting Kai Leng, or Evil Raiden as I have nicknamed him.
Me too....I am hoping for a series of mini encounter's through the game, finally ending in a one on one boss fight between Shep and Leng....I'm really looking forward to meeting and ultimately crushing Leng and hoping the one on one encounter be damned hard.

Shep using the widow is a gameplay mechanic. The asari Captain Enyala is able to fire a Krogan Claymore shotgun only because she is a boss. Again a gameplay mechanic.

They won't try to kill her when she puts her magic vagina and talk-jutsu skills to work!

Not all of it, but some of it is. It's like the entry that says the quarians aren't religious, when there's another codex entry that says most quarians are religious in some way, and almost every quarian we see ends up saying a maxim that sounds inherently religious in nature.Golden Owl wrote...

Kai Leng never impressed me that much. Just the male version of Miranda.
Wrex, Zaeed, Samara,Liara and many more have better feats.

It better be hand to hand. The typical pop and shoot play style ME never feels that heart pounding, but a hand to hand fight like in Heavy Rain would be awesome. In this Americans opinion.
Especially because Adepts/Sentinels/Vanguards would destroy him in two microseconds. With a biotic muay thai knee strike to the FACE. (As a good friend of mine suggested).
Ohhh... yes. That's what we need. That's what the Vanguard's heavy melee should be.
Related. I guess I need to make a Tony Jaa Vanguard now.

So we know that Kai Leng will be after Shepard in ME3, i hope for epic one on one battle, because I feel like im cheating when i need two squadmates to fight some of the bosses (like Saren, or Tela Vasir) what are your thoughts?
This is the first that I've heard about this.I've been trying to stay away from any spoilers concerning "Enemies in ME 3" Ah well...
I agree with what you say here.It should be one on one.But with Vasir, she had back-up helping her - so it wasn't like Shepard and Co. ganged up on her.
I also actually liked having my squad with me when fighting Saren too.
But I would like for Commander Shepard VS. Kail Leng to go down like: Leon S. Kennedy VS. Jack Krauser: from Resident Evil 4.That was badass!

YES! That fight was amazing, and is totally what a Kai Leng fight should be like.
You know, just without the giant Plaga arm at the end

I really hope there is an option to challenge him to a duel, and while his guard is down, just pull out my pistol and shoot him in the face. Kind of like Indiana Jones.
Then Shepard can say "Who the hell are you anyway? Why am I supposed to fear you, you aren't in the last two games so I have no idea who you are. Don't tell me you're from those dreadful *novels*... those things aren't even canon." Then maybe he can whip out his dick and take a ****** on Kai Leng's dead face, there-by echoing what I really wish I could do to those stupid, bad-written books.

yeah Tony Jaa is pretty cool. But he has nothing on Donny Yen .That man must be in his forties now, and he's still at the top of his game
