This is the first that I've heard about this.I've been trying to stay away from any spoilers concerning "Enemies in ME 3" Ah well...

I agree with what you say here.It should be one on one.But with Vasir, she had back-up helping her - so it wasn't like Shepard and Co. ganged up on her.

I also actually liked having my squad with me when fighting Saren too.

But I would like for Commander Shepard VS. Kail Leng to go down like:  Leon S. Kennedy VS. Jack Krauser:  from Resident Evil 4.That was badass!

YES! That fight was amazing, and is totally what a Kai Leng fight should be like.

You know, just without the giant Plaga arm at the end

I don't know 111987. a Reaperized Kai Leng eventually ending up fighting Commander Shepard in order to improve his chances of defeating him (after Shepard kicks his butt ealier in the game) could be pretty cool

I really hope there is an option to challenge him to a duel, and while his guard is down, just pull out my pistol and shoot him in the face. Kind of like Indiana Jones.

Then Shepard can say "Who the hell are you anyway? Why am I supposed to fear you, you aren't in the last two games so I have no idea who you are. Don't tell me you're from those dreadful *novels*... those things aren't even canon." Then maybe he can whip out his dick and take a ****** on Kai Leng's dead face, there-by echoing what I really wish I could do to those stupid, bad-written books.

I think it would be better for an non-Reaperfied Kai Leng to kick Shepard's ass in a straight up fight between the two of them, but have the fight interrupted for some reason preventing Leng from finishing off Shep. Then when the final confrontation comes later it will be more dramatic, rather than just Shepard walking all over everyone yet again. I get tired of Shepard being unstoppable, invincible, never-wrong manimal.

Dude needs to be brought down a rung or twelve.

works for me as long as Shepard gets the better of him the second time around.

I both agree and disagree.....Shep is supposed to be a real kick *ss protagonist which fits the game, if he isn't the best, then maybe we should all be playing as Kai Leng and not Shep...If Shep were one of many in a game then yep, the uber cool Mary Sue would bug the sh*t out of me...no-one is perfect....But as it stands, I would be disappointed if Shep got owned by Kai Leng....I was already a little disappointed that Tela Vasir had to be already badly wounded for Shep to be able to take her down....made him look a pretty pitiful Spectre and Hero.

Actually, you know marsh -- that could work.I like the idea of Commander Shepard being put in a situation with Kai Leng; akin to Rocky Balboa Vs. Clubber Lang ...

@Saphra Deden: Yeah... Just like what Jack Krauser became in Resident Evil 4.Shepard gives human Kai Leng (in their first battle in ME3) a butt whoop on par with what Obi Wan Kenobi gave Anakin Skywalker in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith's climax.

Kai Leng comes back for Round 2, Reaperized -- and Shepard needs his friends help to take him down.

Aside from the fact that they follow Sheps neutral options...I thought myself the story/events behind them is meant to be canon.

Thing is, popular opinion back in the topic was that the guy on the pic is Kai Leng, and being the assassin he is, he decides to crash right into the captain's quarters while the ship is in outer space.

That's not Kai Leng.

This is what I think.

This cannot be some assassin breaking through the top of the cabin's viewport in the vaccuum of space. As soon as he shot the glass, the air and items that is sucked out from the room would knock him away from the ship. He wouldn't break through and landed on the bed while everything else is sucked out.

This is what I think this is. The man in the picture is Shepard. The armour is onyx grey just like he default wears. Now the cabin itself seems to have its lights out. What I'm guessing is that the Normandy is under some cyberattack (possibly from Cerberus) and Shepard is locked in his room. The only way he can get out is by wearing his armour, getting on his bed and into a position that prepares him to be launched out into space. His pistol is aimed at the viewport, so I can make the conjecture that he fired it upwards to destroy the glass and allow him to escape his cabin (via halo style) to defeat whatever is attacking the ship.

I highly doubt they'd give Shepard that much character development. (Boy, that's saying something when the character has less development than in a Rocky movie). 

First Confrontation: Shepard will have his/her ass handed to them by Leng. Some incident or squadmate will save Shep before they die.  Shep shrugs it off.  Never mentions it again.
Second Confrontation: Longer fight, but will end at a stalemate.  Fight will be interrupted before Shep gets the upper hand. Shep shrugs it off.  Never mentions it again.
Third Confrontation: Leng will resort to trickery by kidnapping a squadmate (LI?) or take hostages. Leng will want to beat Shep on his own terms, so he lets the hostage(s) go.  They fight. Shep wins.  Shep shrugs it off.  Never mentions it again.

I don't really get all this Kei Leng fanboyism. It's almost as bad as all the Boba Fett fanboys. I honestly hope they don't try to have him one up Shepard. If anything I hope whatever confrontation end up similar to this:

The original Council was never said to be dead.  What was said is that the Council was "radically restructured", which can fit with either the addition of a new seat for the first time in over a millenium or a complete turnover of membership.
