I've just been playing through Mass Effect 1 and 2 again, and just finished my playthrough of Mass Effect, using a previous character, who I got to level 60 and made some different choices.
However when I attempt to port him into Mass Effect 2, he is listed as being Level 50 with only one option there?
Is it suppose to say that, or is my importing bugged?
Level 60 listed as Level 50

Every time you complete the game it creates an import save, so since you have completed it twice you should have two separate saves with the same character. First look to see if the other is hiding in the import list maybe scroll down. Second thing you might try is to rerun the configuration import utility.
