I came into this thread expecting something completely different. I was all ready with my response. I was going to say: PREPARE FOR THE FLAMES!!! and add a relevant accompanying image.

To be honest, I hated Ash's new duds at first.

And then I thought about it and was like, meh, I can live with it.

And then I kinda liked 'em.

And suddenly I find out she gets armor too THERE IS A GOD AND HE LOVES US.

But then I realized I spent most of ME1 looking at Kaidan's tush in the elevators.  Just wouldn't be the same with him in bulky armor all the time, y'know?

I often wonder where this comes from.

It came from Kaidan (regardless of gender) stopping..whatever it is he does on the SR1, too awkwardly stare at Shepard for a solid five seconds during conversations.

It sounds like you would like the alternate outfit for Kaidan to be "Birthday Suit."  I would be down with that as long as Ashley was allowed equal opportunity.

Well Kaidan got shafted in the ME2 opening by making him wear the same armor Ashley and Liara wore.

What?  No, that's way too raunchy, especially for Fox News.  I meant an actual suit with patterns of candles, cakes, and presents.  I think Ashley would look nice in a suit.

We've yet to see this. Everything currently points to Ashley's outfit being her equivalent to Kaidan's armor. Wouldn't be surprised if that comment on twitter was just an afterthought to pacify the naysayers.

On a serious note, it was already confirmed by.... BW obviously, that both Ash and LT are getting casual outfits for inside the SR-2, and super cool combat armor for when... well combat you dummy.

Well, all of the romances in ME1 were written and recorded as bisexual for flexibility, but they ended up not going with bisexuality for Kaidan & Ashley.
