I think the AA pack are just placeholders. Gawd, I hope so. If not, I won't be using Liara's outfit. The rest I like, but Ash's does look like a recolor of what she is wearing in the Fall of Earth gameplay demo.

Yeah I'm not digging Liara's justicar headress thing. I think that's what it's called.

Who knows what it is called.  Could be an asari headband that has nothing to do with the Justicars.  But the color of the armor doesn't look good on her either.  If it was black/blue instead of the red/black it would look better.  If that is how it is come March.  Thanks for nothing BW.  Won't use.

I do like the others.

I'll be honest.  I don't care what the squaddies wears.  They are all adults and are quite capable of dressing themselves.  If Miranda feels the need to have her suit go up her ass, that is fine with me.  I don't see how that is comfortable, but what ever.

Like with Ash's armor/cat suit/what ever.  I do know it has a Spectre logo on it.  Maybe it's new armor that looks light but is as strong as heavy armor.  We just don't know.  Ash does need to have her hair up though.  In the eyes is like swooping.  And we here know what swooping is.....bad.

Kaidan is a spectre.  a biotic one at that.  if that light armor is so fantastic - why didn't he get it?  this is what kinda annoys me - if both of them were similarely ...dressed, if Shepard got a similarly light.... "armor", it woudln't have been that big of a deal.

P.S.  once out of military jurisdiction, people can wear whatever they want.  they could run around naked for all I care.  but when we're going out in a field, they better be suited up.  apparently armor does in fact work and it is in fact useful, seeing how majority of the mercs, spectres etc, wear it.  Shepard included.

I'm just speculating.  Who knows.  Suppose we won't know for another 5 months 3 weeks, 5 days, 33 minutes for those that live in the East Coast of the US.

I'm actually glad Kaidan didn't get the same kind of light armor. Kaidan and Ashley are already too much alike as far as Horizon goes. They don't need to be wearing the same things.

Bioware could easily provide a bullcrap explanation about Ashley's demo clothes being some kind of super latex armor. That's not really the point. Ash is a spectre, she will be going into battle A LOT. Her new outfit would look stupid and ludicrously inappropriate in a combat situation. I had the same problem with half of the ME2 squadmates, Jack in particular.

Jack is just crazy.  She took out four heavy mechs once she got out of cryo.  Like I said, the squaddies are adults and can dress themselves.  I don't need to give them Shepard's hand me down armor like I did in ME1 or DA:O.

what I think happened is that they thought it would get a better reception then it did, concidering Miranda and all and some of innitial responce to Ashley's unveil that went something like: "damn, I'm gonna go back and save her on virmire, she's hot now"

but they post it and people start realizing that no, that outfit she was in a vid is NOT her casual look and the fallout begins and bioware goes, oh crap  and they say- oh don't worry we're giving her armor, all the while frnaticaly scrambling to figure out some armor design for Ashley.

I don't think the armor exists.  we might get it though if we **** loudly enough and show that, we do actualy kinda like Ashley equaly armored as her male counterparts."

/removes tinfoil hat.

I think we're wearing the same tinfoil hat.

If there really was armor, this whole debate could have been ended months ago with a single screenshot.  Or heck a single piece fo concept art.

No such thing as bad press. It is possible are holding off the real armor and using this to just gain more attention to the game and keep people talking about it until the winter where they start showing a lot more trailers.

The tweets are there pertaining to Hudson's comments on Ashley having armor. I thought we'd get a look during Games Con (the one in Germany...not sure the name), but that didn't happen. Then I thought it would happen during PAX and that didn't pan out either. Placation works only when past actions give people something to bank on. That there are people unhappy with ME2 and the fact that hell was raised over DA2 (I know it's a different team, but they're under the Bioware umbrella), you would think that if you made statements about your doing something you'd actually do it.

Being linked to a company that everyone expects two steps back for every positive step forward doesn't make it any easier...especially if (I don't know if this is true, but speculation abounds) said company is using the cattle prod on you.

I'm still waiting on the picture of Ashley in armor and I won't bring it up in the Ashley thread. It seems as though the people there are more inclined to wait until it's too late say anything about it. Maybe they just don't care.

The thing is Gamescom and PAX only showed 2 of your party members and focused more on combat and some stats not armor. Remember before ME2 came out they only started really showing all of the companions in December. I'd suspect we would get more information out of them during November and December.

People who are willing to wait are likely willing to wait a month or two not a few weeks before launch. Plus there are a crap load of other games to play this fall so it is likely many of them won't be focusing on ME3 24/7.

No, I don't believe in squadmates' ability to dress themselves for battle. Not after Blasted Grafted Spirit Hide.

Ahh, if it were at least two sets of armour - one unique for each character and one standard looking, for example, like Medium armour from ME1. With colours and model (to limit, of course - one human/asari female, one human male, one turian, etc.) shared by entire team.

Yeah this is pretty much my take on the situation too.

As it's been a few months I expect we'll be seeing Ashley's armour soon.

ME2 came out in Febuarary.

Edit: never mind late Januarary. Also I expect Bioware to still show trailers around the Holidays.
