So you never got the fabulous Asymmetric Defense Layer in ME2 (not that that armor has it; I'm just saiyan)?EternalAmbiguity wrote...
What is this, Dragon Age? Why isn't that armor symmetrical? My OCD hurts.

Well, all of the romances in ME1 were written and recorded as bisexual for flexibility, but they ended up not going with bisexuality for Kaidan & Ashley.

You mean your Shepard's not gay, right? Or do you mean both you and said Shepard aren't gay?ThePwener wrote...
Oh wait, Im not gay and killed off Ashley. Nevermind then.
Indeed, but whether or not Kaidan likes men does not change the fact that he likes women.koopaonfire wrote...

I ask this as one of my own main Shepards is like the nicest person but I myself am kind of a douche in real life.

Actually, I think Liara was wearing Cerberus Hoplite armor.adonfraz wrote...
Well Kaidan got shafted in the ME2 opening by making him wear the same armor Ashley and Liara wore.

Armor that's in the game files but normally isn't accessible. If you're on PC, you can get it by using the developer console.

Almost looks like a prototype of Shepard's ME2 N7 armor. I suppose that's not surprising, though, if it's Cerberus armor.

Fun Fact: It is first seen being worn by what looks like Asari Commandos in Pinnacle Station, and in the intro for ME2, Liara is seen wearing it.

That's pretty cool. If I didn't already have ME1 on 360 I'd get the PC version.didymos1120 wrote...

It's just a matter of a small change to one .ini file (which in ME1, can be edited with any text editor) that enables the dev console :

Then you use the "giveitem" command in the game.

Yeah, there's a bunch of different armors from various manufacturers in ME1 that have that same basic design. The design has also shown up in ME2 in more than just the prologue:

And Tela Vasir's armor is a sort of streamlined version of it:
